- During this walking tour, I take you along the festival of our lady of mount Carmel, a traditional feast celebrated all over NYC, including here in Rosebank Staten Island, one of the original Little Italy's in the city. After a tour of the feast and a look at some of the food stalls, I proceed to walk along the streets of Rosebank and then end the tour at the famous Garibaldi/Meucci house!

Thanks 🌹 for the stroll. I was not aware of Meucci.
Great stroll, enjoyed the religious statues.thanks for mentioning my hometown, Bayonne😊
Thanks for the comment. I did a short little tour in Bayonne last year. Love that town.
@@Antonioonthego glad you like our town, I enjoy Staten Island also, we're both good neighbors:)
Very interesting stuff. Great to see the hidden less known parts. In some ways, it’s more interesting than the popular hot spots. Last month I visited the NYC area and did a walk in White Plains New York and that was interesting. Lots of hidden parts in the NYC metro area.
I plan to do more unknown spots. I've been around but that was before my streaming/youtube days. Sleepy Hollow is nice, I want to go back.
@@Antonioonthego after my NYC visit I drove through Tennessee and randomly stopped in Greenville Tennessee. A town I never heard of and discovered the house of President Andrew Johnson from the 1800s which is a preserved. I had no idea about any of this and it was all random accident
@@ramencurry6672 I had a similar experience in Princeton, NJ. I was walking around and then someone pointed out Albert Einstein's house to me. I had no idea I had walked right past it.
@@Antonioonthego that’s awesome. I love Princeton.
