New York City on Halloween! 2024

During this video I start out at Washington Square Park and walk along Greenwich Village in hopes of getting a glimpse of the parade. Regardless of the parade, just being in the Village is one big parade! Lets go for a stroll!

Honored to recieve the offer. I am not a licensed tour guide but I do know the city pretty well. I would suggest you hire a professional guide, because they know a lot more than I do when it comes to the history behind every nook and cranny of the city. I know a lot but I can refer you to some pro tour guides that I know.

The burger guy interviewed is George Motz. Supposedly George is like the most famous burger historian in the country. I actually saw him last summer inside his burger shop but I didn’t try his burgers though.

The long line for Insomnia Cookies is strange. It’s a chain and they have so many multiple locations in every city in America so it’s not unique

So true. I heard New Orleans is great on Halloween, but it's mostly along Bourbon street. I've been to Sleepy Hollow, Salem MA, Lambertville NJ, no comparison.

Oh I know the city well. Park for free after 6pm all around the Village. Just stay off the avenues.

Is it unusual to see people walking around with sleeveless shirts and shorts on Halloween? I'm sure most years it's much cooler.

@@edis4ut287 it was 82F out , way higher than usual . It only dropped to about 77F once the parade began.
