Just when you think you've seen 65/66 mustangs done in every possible way.....this car is a true bad ass driver. Bodywork and those taillights are very well done ! 🍻
Another awesome ride!! All you show is over the top cars. Thanks always enjoy.
It's his taste. Not personally my fav but I like he put his flavor to it.
Thats the beauty if custom work you do it for yourself.
@Zach P why we gotta go with the childish banter. Let's be adult or at least act like one.
Ummmmm never knew this show was about your taste buddy ! Didn’t your mother teach you if you don’t have something good to say don’t say anything at all dude. Let’s see your project!
The interior is stunning. Love the paint job with the subtle light grey offset racing stripe - offset stripes are just so sixties. Nothing beats a white '65 Mustang as it harkens back to the Shelby Mustang heritage. Love the wheels and the modern engine transplant. I even light the modern tail-lights that were grafted into the rear side, but those wheel flares - gack!
I like this whole car just wish it had another 200 hp
I was the one who insisted on white. They wanted black and they do look good black but I made it white because everybody else paints them black.
A great build. You got to admire the detail in that interior. Looks better than most new luxury cars that are on UA-cam. The exhaust sound was very impressive.
As the owner of a 98 cobra I love seeing that 4 cam 4.6 under the hood, I say keep it there. Put in a built bottom end and add a whipple or kenne bell with about 20 psi.
As the owner of a '98 LSC I know that engine NA makes 295hp. Supercharged well over 400
@Mayhem Maverick Sounds like a stout 2 valve you're putting together. Post some vids after its done.
Mercury Marauder owner here, my idea would be keep the block throw 99+ 4V heads on it and put in a forged crank/H beam rods. Could make as much power as you want with that combo
@@edwardmyers1746 Hell yes. I'd like to have a Marauder for a daily driver.
@@brianspangler3771 mine is somewhat daily driven but is meticulously clean all fluids are extremely fresh, every aspect of maintenance is taken care of, 0 rust, interior and exterior kept clean, under the hood is showroom.
300 horsepower doesn't sound like much, but when you consider how small the first gen mustangs are compared to the new ones, it's plenty, and it's a reliable number! sure, a thousand horsepower SOUNDS fun, and it is, except for all the reliability it takes away from the motors, and the suspension, and all of that. this car looks great, sounds great, performs well for what it is, this dude really knows how to build a cool car!
300 was alot compared to the basic V8s only doing 225 back then lol.
@@edwardmyers1746 yeah, but honestly, even today, 300 horsepower is a lot of fun. i think the Lamborghini Miura only made about 385 horsepower, which isn't even a hundred more than this Mustang, and that was a supercar in the mid-late sixties!!
@@calebrose4607 both of my cars have 300 HP on sits at 302 and the other around 330ish (not dyno proven). 300 is definitely a good number N/A
@@edwardmyers1746 agreed. it's a great number, and it's enough power where the car could still get traction if you floor it
These cars were light. I think the original V-8 cars came in at around 2,800 pounds. A 2021 Mustang GT weighs 3,800 pounds. Speed is all about power to weight ratio. If you're not moving much weight, you don't need that much power.
Those are the best looking Mustang interior door panels I've seen ... beautiful 👍 👍
I love everything about the build.. Except that front bumper.. But its not my car.. Respect to owner and all involved in its creation 😎
No doubting the quality.. It (to me anyway) just doesnt look right.. Epic build none the less
Yeah it looks like a mustang 2, thats why i hate eleanor mustang, a crimson chin bumper doesnt match gen 1 mustang bumpers.
Bumper has,to go.
Your right. The front bumper wasn’t my favorite part and I wanted to build it differently but it wasn’t my money paying for it. It is all metal and made by hand but it’s one of one so I’m still proud of it. Also so happy it so it got the interior it deserved.
@@jonb74 beautiful work.. Still one hell of a fine creation 😎👍
I am not a huge Ford fan but damn that is bad ass! Only thing that needs to be done is a Coyote swap. A good 450hp to 500hp would be the sweet spot IMO.
Shawn man thanks for the uploads I always look forward to them. That's such a nice car alot of time went into it I dig it.
I find a way to love every car they show bc u can see the passion everyone has and makes it cool all the unique taste
Love this channel!!! I watch a lot of these videos and share as much as I can here in Alabama!!
Love this car. Nice job putting this car together
What a beautiful car, this interior is pretty epic. Well done!
Most badass ‘65 FB I’ve ever seen.
64 1/2, 65, 66... The BEST looking Mustang Models from then till now. Had a Vin of 64 1/2 in my early 20's, suspension GT350 old school setup (you all know)Disc's all around, Ford 9in, T-10 but never got to the motor so I had less hp than this build but SEEBSCT was was my favorite! Now I own a 17 Focus RS...learning to drive all over again at 54.
Simply Awesome, my first car in 1975 was a 65 Fastback Stang
I usually don't like white base color first generation mustangs, but this one is sweeeeet!!!
I personally like the entire look from front to back. I especially like the front grille. Looks bad ass. Don’t change a thing. Your turning heads 👍🏼
Agreed. I’d just give it a little more HP and enjoy
Great car. Wish the episode was longer. Shorter than the others. Keep up the great work
Beautiful, sane car, immaculate interior, perfect look. 👍
I LOVE IT!!!! Great video and totally awesome engineering!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it! Give it another 100-200 hp and you’ve got a perfect 65 imo
Dope car, looks like they welded a ford ranger bumper to the stock mustang bumper. Definitely a cool ride.
Looks fantastic and sounds great too. And if the owner is happy with the power output then, well it's his preference that matters!
We built this car in 2017 . Great compliment to see he only upgraded the interior with some nice options and added the race stripe. The front bumper and fenders come off and allow you to service the car as well plus make it easy to do an engine swap or upgrade . We built it for drivability and to be able to be updated over the years without to much of a PIA.
Really nice car. Personally I’d love more power but great build and it’s not mine so who cares what I’d do 😂
Talights, what car did they come from?
@@acharles8375 2016 mustang
The magic of this car. I swear eveytime I see one its almost like no 2 are the same when coming up with designs.
Wow! Great tuning! The discs are great!)
Love the tail lights! Nice build all around.
Thanks. They were a real pain in the ass but I hadn’t seen anyone else do it and that’s what I enjoy doing.
Looks like it has a slight but noticeable camber to it, which is what I'd like to do if I got my hands on a fastback to restore. Nice, tight hugging on the corners makes for a helluva ride. Great job on this beaut.
Crazy clean
That interior is super sweet 👌🏻
Beautiful Mustang Mike
The grey and white subtle clean
Cool car. Awesome to see different folks taste.
Love the rear taillights and the original external cabin vent louvers. The fact that almost everyone replaces them with something else now makes the originals unique.
Truth
Dam that thing is such a good looking car done so well I'd be happy with that engine just as it is 😂😂
bad ass mustang really unique great video shawn👍🏻🇺🇸
This is amazing! Love it!!!
Love your mustand great job thanks for your service, I have a 65 coupe also nowhere the work that you have in yours cheers.
I respect this build all the way around. Having a lot of power is cool but, I like the fact that it's functional and a daily driver. You don't need a lot of horse power to cruise or go to the grocery store. 😁
So far I have in one way or another loved all cars you show cased
This thing is BEAUTIFUL! Every inch was very tastefully done. I would certainly prefer a better powerplant, nothing too crazy but more power nonetheless. Gorgeous build!
Looks sick!
I like the preparationof the Mustang as much as outside as inside it is beautiful and the engine is awesome woow.
Very clean....Interior very beauty
Hey there Chris.. I've been watching for awhile now and I have to say that's a nice mustang. The only thing that I would add would be rear " white " louvers on the back glass..
Beautiful job
Glad he likes it. I don't. But full respect to the guys building the car. Absolutely amazing job on this build. For what they were going for it's perfect
Cool comment. I always respect the guy that doesn’t like something but doesn’t bash
Clean, well done driver thats super nice!
That is one sweet build!
Awesome car good it's a driver, love the back lights on it, and agree the apolstry is awesome and Gabes are the best as well, 👍🏾🤙🏼
Gabes really is the best
What a cool looking mustang. That body and paint scheme is sweet!
Agreed. Just a bit more power needed but otherwise a beautiful build
I like it....as is. Nice ride. Drive it and enjoy.
Thats a nice looking stang plus the wheels set it off
Great looking Stang for sure
I would have loved to have heard about the automatic trans ! Is it stock , modified ?
I would have to have a stick 4 or 5 speed
That mustang looks badass brother.
Intresting exterior for sure
I'm with ya there on a bit of a power boost haha but overall a solid build. That whole rear end really does it for me. 😩😍👌
Absolutely brilliant fantastic job amazingly so cool love it cheers KC Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺😎🇦🇺👍🇦🇺
Very beautiful car. Not the motor I expected to see but at least it’s not another LS. I’m split on the S550 taillights.
Idky, but every time I think about a car, it shows up here. I thought of a Buick Regal, it was literally posted the next day. I thought of this mustang, and now this exact Car that I was looking on offer up yesterday is now here. Signs everywhere😪💀
Definitely update us if he puts in a coyote engine. Other than that this fast back is absolutely perfect. What an amazing work of art
The tail lights are really cool
Beautiful build, but I would personally opt for the Coyote or Voodoo motor with a manual. Just my opinion. Still a sick car either way.
Being an aluminium 4.6 4V, there's definitely room for improvement. But 280hp is enough for a daily.
Gorgeous mustang
GORGEOUS🤤
simple great beautiful car norm
are the front & rear flares spose to have different tail ends? fronts come to a point, rears are rounded... front pan under the bumper is also very boxy, while rear follows the body curves... both decisions seem odd.
interior work by Gabe's is stunning as always
That’s one cool mustang.
BEUTIFUL WHITE HORSE, IMACULED. GREAT WORK, CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL AND SHAWN, TANKS TO SHARE. GREETINGS FROM PORTUGAL.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching from Portugal!
@@AutotopiaLA ALWAYS MY FRIEND AND I REAL LIKE TO SEE, THIS LEGENDARYS OLD SCHOOL MUSCULS, GETTING A GOOD RESTORATION AND STAY WHIT A NEW, REFRESHING AND ACTUAL LOOK. I REAL APRECIAT THAT, AND BEIND TO HAVE MONEY, TO DO THIS KIND OF PROJECTS, WE MOST HAVE A REAL GOOD TASTE. BYE SHAWN, SEE YOU ON THE NEXT TRESOUR DISCOVERY😀😉👍
Masterpiece
Nice, clean car. Love the interior. A 351-C would be a good choice. :P
Looks cool 😎
Great build just needs a little more power but beautiful work inside and out
this thing looks good
I love the interior on it..
That stang is sick as hell!!! The only things which destroyed its beauty are the s550 taillights
I like that he likes the car so much. not my bag but its a beauty nevertheless.
Love those flares. They look completely stock.
What to say just a beautiful car!
Beautiful car
Best ever 65,66. Just drop a 2nd or 3rd gen Coyote in there with the 10 speed Auto and you are set. Simply stunning!!!
Cool car! Ride looks a little rough though and it needs windshield wipers
I realy love the rear end styling
Great work on this car. Just needs a little more hp imo
Keep the 4.6 but throw in cams, forged crank. Then you can boost it how you like and still have a driver at 500 hp. Gorgeous car though, I hope he took it up the canyons, 300 would still be plenty tasteful fun.
typical gangster cars of those times elegant stylish powerful athletic beautiful and excellent muscle car
Damn that thing is pretty.
Yeah, beautiful build but I’d love to see another 100 hp or so
Nice reveiw I think irs would have been great
What are the brand of those rims?
That Stanger is perfect as is I would just shut up & enjoy it, but that's just me! A badass pony tho for sure!
Love it
Nice ride guys needs a few more ponies to match it’s aggression and build quality go with a current 5.0 or go hardcore pushrod with efi 😎
love that upholstery, Id like to know what that cost
4.6 has the best sound out there, I'd just slap a Paxton on and call it a day. Power is power and at the end of the day.
What is stock things in cars.
Yes 🔥🔥🔥
Nice stang 👍
so beutiful car. man
Waou magnifique 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
I like the way the motor sounds. I'd keep it. It has that older sounding rumble to it. 300hp is enough for a daily
I’d love to see this car around 500 hp personally
Is that a stone chip under the right head light?
If it is you have a better eye than me
