I love how at the start, the soundtrack is epic and intense, you’ve stumbled upon this imprisoned demon, and are fighting for your life. Just trying to survive. Then it gets more intense, you’re both on even playing grounds. You’re learning how flamelurker attacks, how it reacts. Then the original soundtrack kicks in and flamelurker is losing. Flamelurker is desperately trying to fight for they’re life, pulling out everything they can to down you, but you know what flamelurker is going to do and how to react. Then, you vanquish flamelurker. They’re human mind is finally freed from this world of pain and suffering.
They ruined his theme though, originally its a reasonably subdued track all the way through with a lot of low brass instrumentation, to emphasise how disturbing and creepy Flamelurker is, now they've just made the music way too loud + layered over generic choir chanting/screaming like Bloodborne was saturated with as well to make it feel more action-y and 'epic' when that wasn't the intention with every boss track, it makes the whole thing come across as so much more boring and safe than it used to be.
@Derron James Jabutay Just because it wasn't bombastic screaming choruses doesn't mean it was bad. Things can be subtle and still get across a good amount of emotion to the viewer, original Flamelurkers theme was creepy and the low brass worked really well to heighten the tension slowly throughout the fight and capture the feeling of doom/darkness. Rather than just being more samey choir chanting. Again, this is just loud and boring, basically every boss theme from bloodborne sounded like this shit, its generic as hell.
@Derron James Jabutay I didn't say depressing, I said disturbing, because you're fighting a weird creepy demon that's been trapped inside of this dark scary tunnel, it doesn't need this holy sounding chanty fight music, the original game in general had a pretty memorable soundtrack because it went for a more subdued approach with it, instead of making it like every other fantasy action soundtrack.
@@savaralyn0951 now I can see why you may like the original better. But changing the theme like this was obviously a risk, contrary to what you said, considering how many people I see get angry about the remake of it. But all those opinions will most likely be washed out by the large amount of new players coming to this game. I’m guessing around 99% of the people staying up all night to get a ps5 are doing it to play DeS lmao
No healing, no shield takes me back to the years when people started doing "No-Shield-challenges" on Demon´s Souls oh I can´t wait for the souls community to first go like "uhhhhh this game will be sooooooo hard, blablabla" and then after realising they did not chage the enemy-behavior go like "uhhhh, this game is for casulz, make it harder"
@@theatheistbear3117 I completely agree, I'm amazed at how slick Demon Soul's still is, it's like they grabbed it from the future when they first released it
@@shaiyantahamtanzadeh6387 Demon’s Souls aged like fine wine. It’s a diamond in the rough. The gameplay has issues in places like how world tendency is done, or how overpowered magic is, but man does it succeed in selling you this dark atmosphere. The original Demon’s Souls ost is just amazing. I’m glad that they’ve kept some of the dramatic slow-paced tension, even though it’s more ‘epic’ in comparison to the original’s minimalistic approach.
I feel like this track fits a boss fight much better than the original. The original's still obviously an incredible track, but it sounds more like something that would play as you make your way towards the boss lol.
Original: Sad and melancholy Remake: Exciting and thrilling with the sad and melancholy old undertones Kind of fitting considering the history of Demon’s Souls, the unsung originator of the Souls games coming back into the limelight

It still fits the OG version very well. Flamelurker is one of the few bosses in Demon's Souls that fits well with crazy choir music imo.
I'm gonna miss the Funeral March but this sounds amazing for Flamelurker.

Old theme was bad, bland, thin, and boring.
Imagine how amazing the fight with False King Allant is going to be. OMG
I´m afraid that boss fight as many others will not have aged that well, people most likely will just stagger him into submission
Damm If im being Honest this fits Very well! And the old Grunts really add to the theme!

Also, for the time this came out, Flamelurker may be one of the coolest bosses ever
@@shaiyantahamtanzadeh6387 He still is one of the coolest.

Sorry, I couldn't pay attention because I was having a panic attack from you not healing
This is brilliant

It just works!
man that's amazing, how you're in 60fps??
Hi,
in this link you will find the information: rpcs3.net/blog/2019/08/12/new-demons-souls-60fps-patch/
Yup its emulated but beware its actually very demanding for ur pc
I prefer original version.
@ilay I meant the score of the boss fight.
Remake OST sounds like GoW or a generic Western Fantasy game. That's very dissaponting.
Old one has more personality
Remake OST fight that isn't completely drowned out by over-loud SFX? AT UPPED FPS?!
*SIGN ME THE FUCK UP.*

I honestly prefer the original theme but this is a good second.

fromsoft artstyle with big western movie soundtrack is kinda based
EEEEPIIIC!
Could you do the remake with OG soundtrack?
Can you do Warcraft 3:Reforged all human comparison Old vs New?
Wich weapon he is using ?
Meat cleaver
warcraft reforged human comparison pls
The original ost its better, but remake are pretty good too
와우
Flamelurker is the same as the remake, but with a different coat of paint. Same gameplay, just with better graphics and music.
