Ford F-650 F-750 heater core replacement

Replacing the heater core does require pulling the dashboard away from the firewall, but it's not as difficult as I imagined. It also doesn't require removal of the HVAC plenum.

1 part borax to 5 parts sugar by volume then 2 parts borax/sugar mix to 1 part water by weight (or volume as it is very close) to arrive at a cooking oil consistency syrup. Your "syrup" has an approximate 19.54% borax concentration by weight* . The terro box says 5.40% borax. Your mix has about 3.6 times higher borax vs terro and an observed faster "control" rate.
if the weights I found are right then *1tsp borax = ~8.5 grams + 5 tsp sugar (at ~4.1 grams per tsp) 20.5 grams = 29 grams borax/sugar mix + 14.5 grams water = 43.5 grams of 2 to 1 "syrup" 8.5 grams borax per (divided by) 43.5 grams syrup = .1954 or 19.54% borax . 19.54 divided by 5.4 = ~3.6 If my "older brain" math is correct
