I am surprised she is not talking about who she truly learned to elevate Indian cuisine from. She didn’t talk about working at Gagaan. Or learning from the chef himself?!?!??? She wouldn’t be where she is without him.

She has also worked under Gordon Ramsay as well...What influenced her is her own take...Her hard work..Her art...Kindly concentrate on what you yourself do..

If she learned from Gaggan Anand, she learnt from the best. I’ve never seen a more passionate, talented and enthusiastic chef than Chef Anand. Shameful if she doesn’t feel the need to even mention his contribution to her journey.

Many Indians are like that. Western chefs are proud to tell from whom they learn.

My rule for good food: NEVER trust foods that look meticulously platted. 1. Even if it is only an addition, good foods don't need to be 'presented', but they can surprise. b. Decorating takes time which compromises on heat (temperature) and thus, flavor. Try eating really hot food when they at the brink of being edible and you will never wait to decorate foods ever again.

The problem with hot food is that it can be too hot to be able to taste it clearly, even burns my tongue!

@@akilansundaram2181 That's like saying, "The problem with ingredients is that they can used sub-optimally." Yep, true.

Thank goodness for subtitles! She should've just spoke in her own language as I couldn't understand her English due to her thick Indian accent!!
