Thanks, Max! Cheers from Southwest Wisconsin.... Car's in the garage, snow shovels are poised and ready for action. No sensitive vegetation to worry about, small pets inside. Merry Christmas!!
Almost every morning I get up and make myself some coffee and then watch you newly posted daily forecasts. I appreciate the weather forecasts they aren’t just informative but I enjoy meteorology. Thanks for keeping all of us updated to stay safe and be weather aware. I hope you have a merry Christmas.🎄🎁
Hi there! We started watching you during Milton...we're snowbirds from Canada that winter on the east coast of Florida. You give the best comprehensive weather!! Most weather channels either do Canada and ignore the US, or do the US and ignore Canada...we are interconnected, so one affects the other. I'd love if you added in more Canada content with your US forecast ❤
I don't if you covered Arizona today. Last night we had a low of 18F and tonight at 5:22 am it still hasn't even frozen tonight. That is crazy for 6,000 feet elevation in Arizona in late December.
It's 27° here Southwest Tennessee, this morning and we might get storms and a chance of severe weather after Christmas. I pray we don't get any severe weather.
Good Sunday morning Mrs Trumble, I woke up to 17 degrees, here in North Central Kentucky, got the wood stove going, I wanted to tell you and everyone Happy Holidays, stay warm and safe, and we'll keep listening to Max 🤗♥️🙏🕯️🕊️✝️
@@judithwalthers5128 Goooood Sunday morning, sweet friend. Brrrr, that's cold. Thank you. We wish you and your family a very Merry CHRISTmas and Happy New Year.
I’m lookin at 18°F here in eastern North Carolina overnight. Our normal lows in December float in the upper 30’s with mid 50’s in the daytime. Subtract 20 from the norm to get what we’ve been having all month. This is absurdity.
Love your show and detailed analysis. I found you randomly when Florida was inundated with their late summer hurricanes. Merry Christmas from Northern Illinois.
What is HAPPY HOLIDAYS? Here I thought it was CHRISTMAS? Soooo, doesn’t that mean, MERRY CHRISTMAS? nobody i know has a happy holiday during CHRISTMAS, and Happy New Year!
Christmas isn't the only holiday that exists--Hanukah starts at sundown on the 25th, Kwanza starts on the 26th...there may be others I don't know, too. And of course New Years, but you already know this, you just want to be a jerk. I'm sure Jesus appreciates his followers being jerks...🙄 😒
I am in the hills of Oregon, and all we've had so far is rain. Rain, rain, and more rain, and I am sick of it! We always get cold, ice, and snow. If it's going to be dark and dreary, I would rather have snow. We have firewood, studded tires, stocked up on hay and foods, shovels, meds, etc. Just for the rain.
Charlotte NC - 24 degrees @ 4am 29 degrees at 8:29amFarmers Almanac is typically accurate with weather prediction… Will have to re-read and see what they said about Dec 24’ - Jan 25’
Im in Pennsylvania Huntingdon County Pennsylvania. The cold weather isn't that bad it was 9 degrees this morning. But as far as snow im not seeing anything impressive for Huntingdon County Pennsylvania
During the discussions about the formula for calculating Holy Pascha (Easter) at Nicea 1 in AD 325, the Holy Fathers agreed on "the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox" at which point the Pope of Alexandria pointed out that the sun had crossed the equator on Mach 21 that year, not March 25, so the phrase "on March 21" was added to the formula. Christmas was not corrected to match this.
Wrong...early Christians believed that all religions had prophesies about Christ. When missionaries to Rome discovered their solstice feast of the rebirth of the sun, Christians saw that as a prophesy of the birth of the Son of God, so they chose the 25th of December for the Feast of the Nativity (Christmas). The spring equinox was corrected from March 25 to March 21 at Nicea 1, AD 325, which corrected the solstice but not Christmas.
@@rowanrobbins So you have never heard of precession of the equinoxes? That's why the Catholic Pope Gregory introduced the Gregorian calendar in the Middle Ages--the calendar was off by a week or so (sorry, don't remember the exact number); also, the spring equinox was corrected from 3/25 to 3/21 at Nicea 1 in AD 325 for calculating Easter; and Christmas was placed on 12/25 at the end of the 1st century because that was the Roman date of the winter solstice back then.
@@dave438-jw3 Nope. This is something that happens for REAL, the tilt of the earth is science fact. It can happen on the 20, the 21, 22 or 23. The Popes had no real knowledge of that, they believed in mythology, not science facts. Back then, Astrology was a science just as Astronomy is today. The early church decided to take over a Pagan holiday (Saturnalia) to get more Christians. The 25th became Christ's Birthday because the previous celebrations were too popular to eliminate. If Jesus was real, his birthday is unknown and descriptions of shepherds guarding sheep during that night would have happened in spring, not winter. It's all to fit in with a Pagan Roman holiday.
You do a fine job on the weather. I find it very thorough. One thing that would at least help me is for you to slow down a little on the wand. I look for something an zoom it's off to another area. I know that your broadcast time is very important. Thank you for an excellent report.
