Why you sound pro South?
Why zero mention of Slavery?
👀???
thanks for the quality content
I actually meet Professor James Delgado when he flew into Jacksonville.
He is such a great person, I’m very lucky and honored to have meet him.
The second episode is a masterpiece of history ! ✍️🙂💯
I like how the scans in the low visibility water reveal the wreckage.
Thanks for taking back our streets 😊
They are great & the CGI is a fabulous to share a wealth of knowledge. There are some pacing issues introducing the concept of “ Drain the ….,” each time. Each episode needs to stand alone, so I guess this was the way to pull the CGI into a theme. I want it all….now😊! As always, another excellent production from Nat Geo.
more drain the oceans please
Keep your eyes peeled in the coming months. There's always a chance for more "Drain the Oceans" to appear!
I never knew about the Clotilde slave ship. Excellent research and storytelling. America's thirst for slaves went to any extreme.
I love these mega episodes. More please!
😊🎉🎉😊
At the 57 minute mark I just want to point out that a centerboard is not for stability. It provides lift so a boat can point closer to the wind.
This show is fantastic
Slavery didnt end. The color of the people enslaved did.
So true. That's when prisons became popular. The slave owners had 1000's of votes. How ever many slaves you owed you got to vote that number. We are all slaves now but just don't know it. 😢
I just sent you a long response and my phone seized up
The same wreck during 1942 on President Coolidge in Vanuatu.
❤ 2nd here from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰
wildest piece in the Great Lakes is the War of 1812 HMS St Lawrence ... 200ft , 102 gun ship of the line ... as big as the biggest British ocean going men of war built in land locked Lake Ontario to control the lake ... lies in lake near Kingston after being used as a pier post war ... was in service for ??? a year
❤❤masterpiece
Just started watching and I completely agree about the music. 4 hours of this???? very annoying. I’m sure it’s a great documentary but cut the music.
I'm Kyrgyz ❤
I hope there is a Tagalog Dubbed National Geographic Episodes here in You Tube
These would be much more interesting if they stopped showing the ocean draining away every 5 minutes. We understand the premise.
DRAIN THE OCEANS
THE OCEAN. IT MUST BE DRAINED.
(But you have a valid point lol.)
Lol when it was on TV it would redrain after commercial breaks 😂 UA-cam doesn't time quite as well lo
We must drain! If not us then who!
Go take a chill pill 💊
That’s literally the point
Nicee ❤
I'm from the best travel destination in the world. The paradise island Sri Lanka ❤️ 🇱🇰 🎊
49:22 I think it is wrong that they can come here now.
1780 Halloween, Gales of Novermber came early. No hatch covers. Saw it before they said it.
The dramatic music and constant sense of urgency in the narration is gonna get old if this goes on for the whole almost 4 hours.
Seriously I was thinking the same
Then watch something else 😢😢😢
@@joshsteward7353🤣😭😭🎯
Every self entitled 12 year old gotta complain about something.....
I don't watch regular TV anymore and therefore have developed an aversion to these overly dramatic TV shows with stupid music.
I wish there was a way to block channels like History and National Geographic. They always wake me up when I have auto play set at night.
If you can go below the soil to see the bottom of the boat to see it's been hit why can't you do it to the Titanic
8:17 this is the part where these ‘archaeologists’ fill in their own interpretations and head cannons as fact and using as little evidence and truth as possible. One eye witness document isn’t enough
horrible to enjoy with repetitive commercials every 3-5 minutes
❤
😢
👍
January 1861 60% of everything we exported was cotton
SO, when the South said hey we're going to take the cotton and split
The North said that's unAmerican
😊
But it was all about an idea
It wasn't about money was it
😊🇺🇲
Did you expect anything less.

Can't watch this. Music is much too loud and distracting.
It’s always amusing when people complain about documentaries that are years old, as if that’s going to change anything. 😂
Greek fire????
Lebron James, NBA GOAT, 🐐!
HELP FIND MH-370😢
This had a lot more political propaganda speak in it then normal definition that wasn’t needed
Hey National Geographic, Can you STOP STOP STOP STOP STOP uploading mega episodes on Saturdays please!?!?!?!?!?!?!?😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 Thank You.
You can always ignore it, why complain? You’re not forced to watch it.
Ditto @@8geartodown
What a dumb complaint… who cares if they upload mega episodes on Saturday?
Guess someone is skipping their anger management therapy sessions to watch these 😂
the language on this is sus. Is this the DeSantis approved version?
Get over it
First video of the ship in the Florida river the only show the wreck with side scan that would be used to locate it the should have marked it switched to down scan and would have got a high def image they would be able to see a rope hanging off the deck
