You can do it in two ways:
1. using the Current State of Affairs sheet:
The Current State of Affairs sheet is to keep track visually on a day-by-day basis if you need this. Updates in this sheet do NOT affect any other sheets.
2. using the 9-Jar Money Management System sheet:
The 9-Jar Money Management System sheet is to keep track visually on a month-by-month basis and is by far the most important one to update. Updates in this sheet do affect other sheets.
Cash is King and seeing your progress is one great motivator for you to keep going, especially if you don't like managing your money or you're not used to it yet. The graphs show you your Total Cash In The Bank, Total Income, and Credit Card Balance.
