I recommend instead of putting the power plug in the front plate to do in on the side, for me I had problems on rainy days and days with big wakes the socket would collect water corrosion built up and motor would act crazy at times once I moved it to the side everything work just fine.

I think i'll eventually make the jump to a motor when I upgrade kayaks. Think my topwater is already a bit too cramped. Gotta start thinking about that next one 😅 Great video!

Awesome video I would recommend you upgrade your front plug to a
Marinco 70A 3-Wire Trolling Motor Plug & Receptacle Combo
Those smaller cheaper plugs work but you will burn them out within a few months with hard use trust me I did it 2 time before finding the better plugs

Are there more small cables inside the marine raider battery box that come with it and hook to the lid and battery? Or did you have to buy some? Love your new set up and content both here and on the gram.

Nice video sir. Just a heads up you will want to change those style of plugs they overheat really bad, and the plugs get mushy. I started with those plugs and ended up changing them out later.

I’m going to add that to a future video. I have a system that will pull a handle to drop the kayak and another to pull it up.

Do you have a video of deploying it from your set and then retracting it. That seems to be a problem for a lot of people.
