Hey, thanks for this video! Really just wanted to see if it's a problem if the sensors don't align perfectly/they don't face eachother. Much like you were wondering.:D
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs it's not the length per se - it's just so verbose and flabby. Needs to be far better planned what is going to be said and delivered without all the pointless additional chat and procrastination.
I have it connected to my back door. It works. However I only want the sensor to be active from midnight to 6am. Is this possible. I can't figure it out...

Thanks for the advice, I will try harder
@@hartleyjr Thanks I will work on it
I actually like these long detailed videos. I can always skip to the parts I'm interested in. Nice work!
Hello, thanks for the video., my sensor seems to take 20 to 30 seconds to notify when opened, any idea why ? Thanks !
I think there is a delay on all of them, make sure the software is up to day
Thanks .. it is .. a tad disappointing as had the planned to use it to turn lights on in garage etc. may return it.

Yes it can, go to the contact sensor on the App, and at the bottom hit the explore smart actions, set up build a smart alarm when you sleep
@@YorkiesBitsandBobs thanks. I tried that but it doesn't appear to work...ill try again..
@@aidanbrennan7389 It could be that you have set up a different configuration in the smart hub or the contact sensor
How did you manage to get this. Been looking for ages.
Thanks for the comment Geoff 😄
Can a single light connect to multiple sensors?
I don't think so but It could do, you be better off asking Tapo
Good video. Will it work without the hub? Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪
well it does say Tapo Hub Required, but if you only want it to send you a notification I guess it will work like that but I have not tried it
No, this device needs the hub, eg H100.
