I'll try your recipe, and you can try mine ? I like to use Lemon Pepper with Garlic powder & Butter ! I think either way is WIN, WIN ! Back in the mid-80's, I went on a charter out of Sandusky, Ohio. We killed the walleyes ! To keep fishing, we tossed some fish to other boaters who weren't so lucky ! 1 oz. lead-head jigs with shiners did the trick ! My last cast and the Captain said "Bring 'em in boys, time to go home" ! I yelled ""HOLD ON, FISH ON"" ! IT WAS THE BIGGEST WALLEYE OF THE DAY ! It weighed in at 12 pounds. The Captain asked to use my fish picture for his brochure, and gave me a small walleye pin for my hat ! AH, THE MEMORIES !
All my life growing up people have told me about all kinds of trash fish. Tullibee (Cisco), Eelpout, sheepshead, rock bass, etc and I believed it. Lately I have been purposefully targeting stuff like that to try and make edible. Tullibee is a member of the salmon family. So you cut out the pin bones and remove the blood line on the back of the fillet and it fries up just like a panfish. I threw back a sheepshead a few weeks ago and I'm kicking myself because I bet that would make some killer tacos if prepared correctly.

Everything you could possibly want there, food lodging ramp store and bar you never have to leave the campground and some of the best fishing guides on the western end of Lake Erie!
Yeah man, trolling isn’t my thing, but I’d say most people who come visit up here end up going trolling. Just trying to show different ways people catch the fish in their good!
That's my neck of the woods, Wild Wings in Oak Harbor, great spot!
This recipe got to be a killer for snook 👌👌👌
Love the videos man

Yep can’t go wrong with fried. I just wanted to try something different
Great to see you walleye fishing!! 😊
You have to come to europe and fish for Perch and Zander
Zander get bigger than walleye
Goby is by the way delicous if you cut the head and if you are At the stomage you just have to pull the head off and the pull out the intestines and put it in flour, egg and salt and then in a Pan and make it crunchy
Can't sleep.....sooooo, I watch you living the dream. Awesome video as always.
Glad to help pass the time. Here’s to deeper sleep for ya tonight 🙏🏼
@@YakFishField it's gonna be hard to sleep all week! Big trip coming up Saturday. Idaho, Montana and Washington.
Best mayb but try Jumbo Yellow Perch Beer Batter Waleye too and of course French Fries to go with it and very simple to make more so than your recipe here
I'll try your recipe, and you can try mine ?
I’m using that “recipe.” Looks delicious.
I love Walleye it's good stuff that Yellow Perch are my favs
Those little buggers on the fish are called Sea Lice ! AKA SEA LOUSE !
Dudes camper kitchen is nicer than my whole house hahahaha
Hahah
You should try doing a mtb challenge
All my life growing up people have told me about all kinds of trash fish. Tullibee (Cisco), Eelpout, sheepshead, rock bass, etc and I believed it. Lately I have been purposefully targeting stuff like that to try and make edible. Tullibee is a member of the salmon family. So you cut out the pin bones and remove the blood line on the back of the fillet and it fries up just like a panfish. I threw back a sheepshead a few weeks ago and I'm kicking myself because I bet that would make some killer tacos if prepared correctly.
I so miss Lake Erie! We used to go out of Port Clinton every Memorial Day weekend to KILL the Walleyes!
Same here.
PortClinton born and raised here, nothing better than slaying Walleyes in the summer, I live in Chicago now, I miss it!!
Erie Dearie, worms and spinning reel, my kind of fishing.
Omg walleye fun. Ive got only 5 this year...may flies gorged them last time out.
How nice!
We have sheepshead in freshwater in new York we call drums, drums and sheepshead, sheepshead.
