It is unnerving when the ONLY speaker in the video is talking to someone off camera instead of speaking to the audience.

What if the expungement was a felony more than 19 years ago and expunged 17 years ago? Keep in mind I work for a government agency and the check will be done through the county sheriff. Will the expungement or arrest still show?

Will expunged records not show up fbi checks for residency in other countries , I have a plea and abeyance I was innocent and convinced by my attorney to take the deal saying it will never affect you … yet almost 10 years later it does appear to be the case

Wow that's exactly what happened to me too! I was innocent but took a plea deal since I didn't have proof against my accused who paid witnesses to back his false claims. So now that I moved on I'm trying to move on to another country but need my record expunged. Wondering will it show up on the fbi report

@@everything6034 some countries like Canada don't allow you to even fucking enter if you have a dwi.
I'm sure honduras is the exact opposite. Just bribe some government goon 100 usd and you can get a new identity in honduras.

@@everything6034false you do need permission to live in a country because when moving to another country you have to abide by their rules and laws. Such as Canada Canada does not allow a entry or residency to anyone that is a felon. Are they going to check for that when you get off the plane who knows but if they find out you are a felon they do have the right to exclude you because it is part of their own laws. US law only applies to the US and a country can deny you entry for any reason they so choose up to and including criminal records. You only need a passport if you are traveling and only because they don't do criminal background checks to simply go site seeing in a country; but if you are trying to establish residency; they can background check you, and they can decline.

So, the cops can see the charges, you’ll get more charges because they want to repeat the process. You know they have families. Take it out on their loved ones.

Yes, they can. A foreign intelligence agency(an FIA) can put arrest records of Americans into a database on a weekly basis. FIA's probably have spies in various American law enforcement agencies to collect information.

In North Carolina, an expungement is when a judge orders a record sealed so the public cannot see it. The purpose of the expungement is to seal a record as if the charge or conviction had never occurred. While the SBI and prosecutors (for example) can see your record, the public generally cannot.

I did my own 10 yrs ago. Just knowing the process is the biggest hurdle. I had a couple hints from a coworkers wife who was a paralegal but I did all the legwork, including filing and finding my case numbers from the prosecutors office when they didn't want to help in the least. The whole process and language used is meant to be confusing and discouraging to keep us regular folk out of the courtrooms unless its as a defendant. But filing simple motions like expungements are basically an eligibility based motion. You're either eligible or not there's nothing to judge other than whether the petitioner of the court meets the states requirements and is therefore eliglble. ..whichis, with a little determination, totally feasible for the legally challenged layman. Good luck all and God bless

Message to conservatives... if you elect secular people, you may as well elect a liberal, especially if its a woman who can be coppted through her emotions.
