Judas Priest has been my favorite band for over 40 years. In my early teens I bought Screaming for Vengeance and my mind was blown. I have bought every album multiple times. Rob Halford is a Icon of metal. His ability to still shake the heavens at will amazes me,he is incredible. They are a must see live and one of very few bands that sound better in concert. I’m now 53 and still the worlds biggest Priest fan. It will be a sad day when they call it quits the world is so much better when you can go see a Judas Priest show. Priest Rules STILL.
One of the very first song I heard from Judas Priest back then .....one of their absolutely best song in my opinion .. one of their best guitar riff...a real masterpiece acsong that really defined heavy metal style.... The chorus is sublime.. Certainly one of my top favorite heavy metal song...
We are truly blessed to have this footage of one of Priest's best songs played live. It just amazes me that Rob can give such a great performance at his age. Performance is his life. He never wants it to end - and neither do we.
Halford is an unsurpassed fucking inspiration to me. He truly lives music to the very core of his being. Just like Lemmy and Freddie Mercury. He belongs in the pantheon of all time most legendary frontmen.
One of my absolute favorite Priest songs! Used to be an essential part of their live set (later mostly as an encore), but I think they completely dropped it after 1981?
Priest is a fucking metal megalodon with sharp steel claws on overdrive. Simply cuts through the metal scene like a searing red hot scalpel cutting through flesh.
Wish this was a multi cam pro shot, not some fucking cell phone. Don't understand how Judas doesn't have professional videos of these last, crucial performances. Loved this show in Denver. But just not even close to the original band, or the original recording.
No KK and no Tipton: when does this become a cover band? I get that Ian Hill on bass is still with the band, but this was always a guitar driven band. With no Tipton and Downing, this is pretty weak. A 40 year old song (or there about) without the guys that "made it happen".... I dunno. Maybe it's time to call it a career and relax and start letting lawyers sue the record companies about how the contracts were garbage (on contingency bases).
Yep kks band is more dynamic now and Rippers vocals are where priests should be, rob cant hit the top stuff anymore ,cant fight age unfortunately.andbof of course kk is one half of the real axe duo.

Halford sounds like he did when he recorded this back in '76.
Yeah right 😂
One of the greatest Priest songs!
A true priest classic. Songs like this formed the base of the priest.
He should have the other guys sing the tyrant background part that overlaps.

Absolutely! It's missing the backing vocals to give it that richer sound. Still amazing as hell!!!
For some reason they didn't do them in the 70s either
exactly, they should try to replicate the studio backing vocals because it's the hook of the song 🎸🍺🎸🍺🎸

His voice really quite good here at about 67 years of age..Ending scream very solid.

Excellent version of a classic song. The Priest are REALLY back!!
Ian, 50 years of priest- must be some kind of a record
Jesus Christ! I thought these guys would never play this song again live. I guess waiting does pay off haha!
Jesus Christ this is fucking spectacular
Great performance, i was waiting a long time to see the band playing this great classic live
I miss the backing vocals on this performance because the studio version is sooooo goood!
I love the bass line in this song. It provides the backbone of the tune.
best song of the band

Tyrant ----> 1976 -----> Welcome Heavy Metal!
What I love most about this song the music's driving rythym sounds a lot like Deep Purples Highway Star I truly love both these Brit Bands
I was there...Saints in Hell!!! the best, and then Glenn

That twin-guitar solo...!
Great ☺
Вспомнили пацаны боевик 1976 хорошая ,скорость и гитарные гармонии ,вообще блестящий альбом Sad Wings1976
Badass!!

What are you even talking about? He sounds almost exactly the same as the record
Man that was funny!!!
I can't hear the drums
Where is Glen Tipton?
Retired. Parkinson's Disease
@@Leandroperoni97
Shit!
He retired due to parkinson 😒😥
crap where are the musicians that wrote the music..This is NOT priest
andy snead would be an idiot to give up this gig
Ian Hill has a great voice.
no KK or Tipton nad bad
Sorry this just doesn’t cut it
A shell of their former selves, basically a cover band
He ain't even singing
I love this band but this is kinda sad
How so
That is far from JP

It IS weak and it IS a cover band indeed. Cannot agree more.
