Hello and thank you! I have been practicing progressive relaxation since 1974, learned from Dick Sutphen's book on self-hypnosis. That practice does not use the tense-then-relax technique so I had never tried it. I am currently in palliative care on the journey to hospice care and I would like to thank you for this much needed experience and practice. I have always taken fairly good care of and enjoyed the capabilities of my body until experiencing serious heart problems beginning a few years ago. Since then my body has ranged from tense and uncomfortable to constant pain as I journey my way through this experience. Your Progressive Relaxation video left me feeling more relaxed and comfortable than I have since January 2019. Despite the health challenges, I maintain my exercise, yoga and meditation practices as much as the challenges to my body allow. This video and practice will make that much more comfortable and help me maintain the joy that brings to my life. Thank you for easing this journey for me.
Wow…..I’m a 23yr old man dealing with a panic disorder & agoraphobia, your resilience & positive outlook despite your adversity is truly inspiring , thank you and may you find peace & joy for the remainder of your life and in the after
feeling gratitude for this video existing. for me for getting out of bed to do it. for wearing comfy sweats so i didn’t get too cold. today will be a good day
Ok. I've been really stressed due to family matters and I haven't been able to sleep comfortably. I swear on my life, I only got up to 6 minutes in and I already feel so relaxed. I'm gonna show anyone suffering with insomnia this.
Hi Lisa, due to your pneumonia you should speak to your doctor to determine if this is safe for you given you currently can't take deep breaths without coughing.
I have tried so many you tube videos to help solve my insomnia that I lost count ages ago. I slept last night for 7 hours having listened to this video. What a wonderful feeling! Thank you so much your’e a life saver.
This is the best video of this kind I have found and has helped me significantly with getting to sleep at night, I listen every night! Many thanks for this video. Please never take it down:)
