Pitching from in close when chipping isn't an option. 🙏
@@24marcg24 great suggestion!
Not sure if it is 3 mins, but something around how to get 9 ball trajectory? High draw, high fade, low draw etc etc.
Another excellent 3 minute segment Giles on how to hit the long irons. When I was younger, I loved to hit the long iron. At that time, I even carried a 2 iron and at times a 1 iron if it was needed for a specific hole. Now, because of the loss of swing speed, I have switched out to hybrid. Good information though for those who still have sufficient swing speed. Well Done Giles!
A 1 iron would scare me now! I do love a hybrid now as they are so much easier to hit
Very simple and easy to understand. Well done
Thank you
217 carry would be my dream for a 4 iron. I love your swing & tempo
Thank you!
Giles ty for this video there isn't much information available for this topic and hitting a long iron perfectly is why I play!
It’s got to be up there as one of the greatest feelings in golf when you pure a long iron
All good tips, but my swing speed is under 90 mph. Rescue clubs are much better for me.
Have a video coming out on that but same principles apply for hybrids
Usually you give ball position from the upper body which I started doing. You said one club length inside the heel. So is that the same as lining up under the left ear as you've said with other irons?
Yes it’s the same
