Thank you! I do hope to be able to document how I do my travel journal layouts but I tend to do them mise en place so that could get a bit boring 😅 Perhaps one day when I have an entire day and good daylight just to travel journal prep I’ll be able to record it!

Thank you for the lovely comments and apologies for my delayed response. I am so glad you enjoyed looking through my travel journal 😊 and UA-cam has been a great way of sharing it with others! I hope I get to continue working on more travel journals soon!
I loved seeing your Yangon photos, have been to Myanmar twice and have similar photos, what a stunning place with beautiful, kind and gentle people, thanks for making me smile 🥰🥰🥰
Hi Nadiah, as a long time fan of TNC setups (and travel) I am so happy to find your beautiful and inspiring channel and IG. 😀You use your layouts and blank spaces so effectively in this travel journal but I also enjoy seeing the contrast of your well filled out pages as well. You have a new inspired subscriber here!☺ Thank you so much for sharing. x Louise
Thank you so much for subscribing! It's great to know that there are a few of you out there who enjoy my style of travel journaling 😊 I have to admit that my first proper Travel Journal in the TN had me needing to fill every single inch of space and it took effort and reminding from my own self that it's ok to leave a bit of space sometimes 😅 I should record a UA-cam version of those journals one day as they were a massive 6 volumes!
Love this TN flip through. Your journaling style is cool, tidy and organised and I like the way you placed your tippens. New fan and subscriber, can't wait to watch your previous videos, thanks for sharing😍👍👍👍
Thank you so much! I’m glad you like my journaling style and flip through ☺️ I’d definitely like to think of myself as cool, tidy and organised 🤭 It did take me awhile to find that in my journaling style too - my initial foray into scrapbook journaling was quite all over the place!
Loved this video and your journal and the little tricks to include more pics. I had marked it in my "Watch Later" list, but didn't get to it because there was no voice. No voice is not a problem anymore!!!!! I'm subscribing right away! #Beautiful
Thank you so much! I’m happy you watched my video and enjoyed it despite there being no voice - I don’t have a voice for recording, trust me 😂. Plus… mic fright!
Thank you so much! I believe I used the Pilot Custom Heritage 912 FA for the front page, and on the cover I used a dip pen with a flex nib, although I am not sure of the make!
I send my pictures to get printed on photobook.com as they’re one of the few places that print on matte photo paper. I am not a big fan of glossy photos, mainly because glossy photos used to stick together way back then especially in the heat and humidity here in Malaysia. I don’t know if they still do now but I just love matte prints.
Amazing layouts. Can I ask how you stick your photos? Do you use glues or double tape? And how many pictures do you usally print for one trip? Thanks in advance
Of course! I use acid-free invisible mount tapes (whenever I can find them), but when I run out I’ll probably use double sided tape so that the photo prints will remain dry. As for the number of pictures… gosh! I never know! I just print all the pictures I like and hope my travel journals won’t get too fat 😅 But I do look through each picture to decide which ones I want in what size print but I don’t decide the quantity beforehand.
Wow!! What a stunning journal!! Thank you for sharing! I love your attention to detail... like the vellum tip-in making the photos line up perfectly at 2:07. Do you use some kind of stamp mat to keep your stamping so clean despite the bulky pages?
Thank you so much for watching! I’m a sucker for making things line up perfectly 😂. I don’t use a stamp mat, but I do use a thin acrylic sheet underneath when things get bulky (because that is what I have lying around). I find that acrylic sheets are sturdier, but anything that is thin and won’t bend to the page underneath should work well too.
Thank you so much for watching my video. I hope it brought back some great memories for you! Yangon was truly inspiring for me. I actually print my photos via photobook.com as I don’t like glossy photos and most of those portable photo printers only print on glossy. The higher end photo printers are a bit out of my budget range for now 😄
Gosh! No problem! Don’t stress out too much about documenting your travels that you forget to have fun too. This is why my travel journals are always a few years late 🙊
Hay can you tell me please which size are your Fotos ? And are you make your Fotos with a Phone Pocket printer ? When yes can you tell me the Foto Printer Name ??? Thank you 🥰
Hi! Apologies for the late reply. I actually send my photos out to print as I don’t quite like the quality of pocket printers. I print them out in 4R size (4” x 6”), and I size my photos within those dimensions, most commonly 2”x3”, 2”x2”, and 3”x4” although it varies sometimes.
So pretty and a lot of tips. What do you call that white translucent paper? Is it parchment? Or vellum? Edit: i saw in the comments that its vellum paper. 😊 Im glad i saw your channel. So simple yet so inspiring. ❤️
Thank you! Do you mean the airline/luggage tags? Some I get from redbubble.com, but shipping to Malaysia has really gone up, so I have resorted to getting them from freepik.com. The latter ones are free, but you do need to edit them to what you want, and attribute, so I write a little attribution on the inside of my journal cover 😊
One of the best travel journals I’ve ever seen!
Awww thank you so much! I’m glad you like them ☺️
Would love to see you filming while building your pages! Love the way you have everything organized and your style!

Thank you for sharing. I've been journaling my travels and this gave me an idea, a simple way of journaling using mostly pictures. Love it!
Most welcome! I take so many pictures on my trips I figure this is the best way to let them see the light of day 😀
So beautiful! Thanks for the ideas on using vellum, and your photos are so good. Subscribing now.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you got some ideas from my flipthrough 🙂 Welcome to my channel and I promise not to post too many videos 😅

So beautiful and inspirational😍😍😍😍 What pen did you use for your beautiful calligraphy on front page? It's so perfect.

@@nadiahkimie woooow! That is cool! I didnt know they do small-sized prints!
Oh, they do 4R prints which I shove a few photos onto and then cut down to size accordingly 😅

Hi, this is beautiful. I lived in Yangon for awhile and this is so nostalgic for me. May I please ask what printer you use for the photo printing?
