To be a Triumph owner for 7 years and an off road rider for 20 years, this is absolutely amazing to see come to fruition. This is a once in a lifetime thing that we are here to witness. Triumph will win races. I can’t wait to see how far this goes.

As an engineer I can’t believe how mentally challenged some motocross riders are to think this is somehow just a KTM copy. I mean it’s aluminum frame vs steel frame. KYB spring forks vs WP air forks. And KTM surely didn’t develop their engine.
I like that Triumph has taken the leap to make this bike. When it competes in SX/MX we will see how it really performs. I remember how hyped up the Cannondale was in the late 90's, but it didn't perform up to expectations. Hoping for a different outcome on this British machine!
Cannondale struggled because it didn't have a good platform to grow from, they basically pioneered the fuel injected/backwards head 4 stroke motocross engine and were pulling ideas and designs from thin air. Even though the brand fell flat it was pretty impressive they went for it like they did.
Bring it on!! More competition and more factory ride seats will lead to the sport we love getting bigger, more money for the riders, bigger sponsorships, more televised races....the list goes on!
I'm excited to see this team develop. I think it's a great addition to the sport, and it opens up more opportunity for some talented riders who should be on a factory ride.
My motocross riding days are behind me, but this is so F'N cool to see Triumph entering the fray. I can't wait to see the final styling and livery (British racing green please!), and then see them line up at the gate.

About frickin' time! I'm not a fan of the black-everything bike (just the looks), but I AM a fan of another good brand jumping in to the sport, and it'll be great to have them in the US & GP series next year. And supposedly Ducati too.

Before there was such a thing as dirtbikes my dad rode a Triumph 500 setup for the dirt. Then he bought a Husky 400 Cross and turned the 500 into a chopper.

the reveal videos have been unnecessary and pretentious. doesn't affect the bike in my view. just felt obnoxious to me. this is the only one I watched to the end.
You've got an amazing R&D team, so this is likely pulling the best designs from all the right places. The black plastic is amazing, and will make it a breeze to do vinyl wraps. What is the MSRP and first ship date?
I agree that the black looks great, but I have a feeling that it's just in order to hide the actual styling of the bike. I doubt that is even the final shape of the plastic. Notice that the video was cut with very few side shots of the bike. Cheers!

Well, their frames weren’t up to it. My brother-in-law scrambled a T100 engine but used a BSA frame with Norton forks (much better). That was the original Rickman (Metisse) recipe. Those that had the money bought later Metisse and Cheney frames back in the day. I’m interested to see how the ‘Umph MX bikes go, and wish them well (wherever they’re made). Les in UK 🇬🇧

When it’s appropriate, Compete with KTM on Sales and release a wide line of Bikes ranging to Moto to Enduro, 2 Stroke and 4 Stroke. It won’t be this year or in 3 years but a possibility that can be achieved. Good Luck Team Triumph!!

I can't wait to see what she really does on 6/1/24. At my age im happy to put cash down especially with memories of Triumph growing up. I was planning on the 300 TBI (Husky) in January and knowing Australia won't see any soon nothing is going to change next year here. Crf300ls is another im waiting on

One thing about The Goat when he throws a leg over a hi performance dirt bike you can still see his technique from muscle memory like the town sheriff finger on his six shooter RC finger on the clutch & head over the cross bar
With close ties to pro circuit, I'm sure Mr. Payton will work his majic in the engine and bones putting the midas touch on that suspension. With that combination of Carmichael, Payton and Bones, it'll be a bike to reckon with.

I'm sure they've done their homework and figured they only need a small piece of the huge US moto market for it to be a success. They really haven't put a foot wrong with road bikes for the last 20 years (sales wise) so I can't see them failing now.
@@kurtf7170 i'm a fan and i hope the best, however i'm not sure the US mx market is "huge" anymore, i've been riding/racing for over 30yrs and there are a fraction of the places to ride, dealerships are all closed, there's not an mx track within 60mi of me when there used to be 6-8. I don't see it happening, KTM dominates everything except mx and the enduro/offroad market is much bigger now that tracks aren't surviving. this will be a tough go

My first bike was a cut-down Triumph Cub frame with a Hodaka 90 engine, we called it the 'Hodumph'.
