@@74wf no need to freeze it, i believe you need to keep it at around 10 or so degrees at most to prevent infestations that's my default temperature for everything except bedrooms in mountain bases, but bedrooms are at least easy to contain if they're full of bugs, like the video shows
@@thatguywhoanimids I made a separate save to see exactly how bad that was going to be. Unrelated note, the max temp the game shows is 1000°c and the firebreaks inside the base were... Insufficient.
Once made a raider maze that was mostly sealed… but was connected with two side by side geysers. Raiders go in, I close the entrance and exit when they’re halfway in and watch the chaos.

I miss the mod that was called "better Infestations" it really made them more worthwhile and fun....and bigger. but nice job on the heatstroke trick against those bugs. FYI the mod I talked about is not updated to 1.5 and is not working as intended at the moment.

I had an advanced save and I ignored these animals on a mountain, they grew so much that I had to create another game 😂
could of left the map instead and go caravan somewhere else at least you keep the people and some supplies

He started a fire indoors which cranked up the heat and all the insects passed out and died from heat stroke
