the misconception I seen is the whole movie stereo type. Assuming that everyone in the military is special forces. The average soldier is the same as the average civilian, body build wise, personality wise, they just been through more & happen to be in the military, you do have soldiers who stand out from the rest.

the division between civilians and military is fairly wide.

I think the % of citizens who have served in the military is smaller than ever.

@@liquidleopard4495 I mean, considering how big the population has gotten and the decreasing demand for people serving, makes sense.

Ok so she said she was in the usmc and was a nurse. Im looking to become a nurse in the military and ik the marines do not have nursing, it is actually navy nurses that served with them. So was she actually in the navy and served with the marine corps?

People find out what branch I was in and be like "I call it the 'Chair Force'. LOL"
And I'm like "Yeah, you got that from us. *WE* call it the Chair Force!"
The other super-original one is "So, what did you fly?" A desk.
Pilots are about 2% of Air Force personnel.

"So, you were enlisted...didn't you have the grades to be an officer?" A.K.A., people in the enlisted ranks are dumb. Am I the only one that has ever had that remark cross my path?
