We’ve averaged 9 first team players out since December 1st. Players like Porro, Dragusin, Kulusevski and Gray have played virtually every second of every game during this period, where we’ve been playing 2-3x week. The reason we look sluggish at times is because the squad is dog tired, and we’re going to continue to struggle against every side we face until our injury situation improves. Simple as.
@@TottenhamRanger Or as I noted to someone of similar opinions , Amorim said he would never change his tactics, after a big loss. Because he was from Europe he was not accused of naivety or stubbornness? But you still hear it every week about Ange.
Ange's system just doesn't work without a CB like Van de Ven in the lineup. Dragusin is not athletic enough for that system, and Gray isn't a center back. They desperately need another CB who can play the Van de Ven role to give him a break and cover when he's out injured
Why every time spurs win a game they don't get the same "Media Glazing" like any other teams instead its more like roasting spurs or backhanded compliment, but when they lose its triple than the one they received in "winning ways" weird media.
yes ...its not convincing win...we just escaped. ange need to be flexible in his tactics. unless and untill its will be one step forward nd 2 steps back...
Proud for Spurs. They needed the win. But when sobriety sets in, beating Leicester will mean a lot more than beating Hoffenheim, being in the top 8 of the Euro league, or even winning it. Premier League teams and coaches' futures are are based on competing to win the Premier League. The rest is window dressing.
You are right that beating Leicester is essential because it would keep a big gap between us and the relegation places but you show zero knowledge if you cannot see the importance of the Europa League. The 3 promoted sides in the Premier league are so bad you cannot see them getting past 30 points so as soon as we get enough points to be safe full focus has to be on Europe. Winning the Europa League gives us both things we desire - a trophy and a Champions League place!!! Hopefully then we can kick on under Ange next season but if we are still struggling in the League then make the change!!
They are not a threat , attacking wise, maybe here and there, first 15 minutes. And defensive wise they are POOR! Players are focusing on the flight of the ball instead of the opposing players that are in and around the box. Spurs defenders are all grouped to the front of the goal area and ignoring other areas
I really hope that the returning players help and not get injured repeatedly. Also, attacking wise, not sure if you noticed before? Eg, Kulu receives the ball just after the halfway line. And the Spurs players do not avail themselves to him for passes ? They just run into the box. There is no link , no connective play to support players who have the ball when in the attacking phase. I've been a fan of Spurs since the Steve Archibald , Glenn Hoddle, days.. really worrying now

You’d think this would be the glaringly obvious narrative but instead they go with Ange is out of his depth 😂😂

14 players out only 11 outfield first team players
This people can't see it

I swear, Nicol is no better than stating the obvious as Michael Owen.
How is 3-2 a comfortable win?
I'm still trying to understand

Literally everyone disappointed spurs won 🙄
I'm not I'm delighted
@ good. Same and that’s how it should be

It was far from a comfortable win,did you watch the game ESPN? Hoffeniem had 26 attempts to spurs 6

Pure misinformation
So you accept their defence is working ?

Winning the Europa league is just window dressing ? You are full of it .
You're talking absolute nonsense. Winning the Europa gets Champions League football, which is the whole point of finishing top 4.

Everyone likes Tottenham, comedy gold. Congratulations on just about beating the team 15th in the Bundesliga.
@@daverobertson623 If you take ‘the’ out from second to last word and add 3 point ….. that’s sounds more familiar

I think they looked GASSED after 15 min or so. Hoffenheim sucked but Spurs clearly need help in this window... they're just all so tired.
Just wait until Romero and Van de Ven come back, friendo. We’ll look quite different defensively.
