I used to work with this Mexican fellow who was certain that God was going to somehow provide him with a Lincoln for free. I told this story to an acquaintance who used to “borrow” cars for joyrides and then abandon them close to where he found them more or less intact. My acquaintance offered to “borrow” a Lincoln and leave it at the Mexican fellow’s house with a set of new keys that were made by an unscrupulous locksmith.
