My parents were going through bankruptcy around 2008 when their business failed, and a repo company came out and repoed my dad's moped on his birthday. I'll always remember how bad the repo lady felt for having to repo it on the night of his birthday
The one and only time I had a car repossessed the tow company was very professional and polite. I also didn't freak out and throw a tantrum like a lot of people so 🤷😂
Wow. Hats off to Mr. Rose with the last story. Most people in this world we live in that have the means to do that most likely wouldnt. You my friend are a class act. And i am sure you werent expecting getting that call years later vindicating your decision to help her. Cant imagine how good that must have felt.
I grew up doing repo work on Long Island for Tom Gouldsberry. I’ll never forget the contract we did to repo all of Dave EL limousines fleet from the waterfront in manhattan. We had to physically drag all the drivers out of their limousines as they were reporting in for work. Total bedlam. We were called executive recovery. These drivers fought us like caged tigers. Crazy job. It could be a whole vin wiki episode. Crazy job. Oh the stories I could tell!!! Side note. RIP in rob rabbit pitts. Sorely missed. One of my heroes. Still mourning his loss. Prayers to all the repo agents out there.
The guy R*ping a UNDERCOVER NYPD and fleeing the country is WILD! How do you make bond with that kinda charge and aren’t charged and put under the jail immediately?
I don't know what year you repo'd the American Flag Vector, but back in 2006 or so I bid on that car at a US Marshal's auction in Canal Fulton, OH, along with the yellow one. Crazy for those cars to be at a podunk little auction in small town Ohio.
The best and most lasting form of charity is the personal one-on-one form of charity. The giver knows intimately what their effort goes for and the recipient feels the need to live up to the charity. Notice how he didn't just give her money, he got her out of immediate trouble by getting her the room, then gave her the opportunity to pick up the rest herself, by getting her the job. If he had just given money to her, I doubt there would have been the same outcome.
Had friend that worked on the repo business he changed careers recently he said the amount of horrible stuff you have to see or deal with was not worth it
What a nice and cool guy. Most of the people in the repo industry are good people, but this gentleman stands above. He fits in well with the VinWiki community. Within the repo industry most of the people are great , but unfortunately the bad ones cast a really large and dark shadow on the rest of the industry. This man is a great representative though, and I hope his light can shine on. That may sound corny, but I am fibe with that.
When the Repo guys show up at the dealership I work at, I confirm the VIN and give them the keys. I walk them to the car 100% of the time. I love it though. It's their car now. I have an open spot to park another. Repos are my favorite. No hassle, paperwork is there. I love repos
After finding out Bridgestone is going to be a vinWiki sponsor.. Ed: "Hey could you make me a high speed tire for my Veyrone?" Bridgestone: "Unfortunately, we only make high speed tires for a *Veyron."*
$130k… down payment on his first yacht. Not just his yacht, but his first yacht… geeeeez, I wish I could get a free tattoo removal machine to sell for a $130k so I could buy a dang house! 😂
How Ford Motor Credit that "repossessed" my mom's Sport-trac 6 months after it was paid off and she had the title and "lien satisfied" paperwork from Ford Motor Credit. The best part (sarcastically) is the wrecker driver towed it with the wheel lift from the front but did not put transmission in neutral, pull the driveshaft or dolley the rear. Towed it 48 miles with the rear wheels locked in park , drug it until the rims were ground to the rotors. . How he didn't notice, other drivers on the road didn't say anything. There are pictures from 3-4 toll plazas showing the double shot sparklers going down the 408 toll road through Orlando 😂😮
I was runover by a tow truck which was repo'ing my father's VAN after he died. Broke my right leg and left ankle. While I understand there is a job to do, they will always be on my proverbial sh*t list.
Last story is the best story.
He got the car, got the woman and her kids into a safe place and helped her get her life back on track. That's about as win-win as it gets
100% a good dude all the way around. Got business done but not at someone else's expense. Went WAY above and beyond.
I agree. He is amazing and pure
What an amazing guy
He had sex with her
“Hey guys, thanks for bringing back the yacht with a full tank, let me buy you dinner.” 😂
$30,000 to fill it up!
Yeah no wonder he was elated to see them lol 30k of fuel ⛽️
Free gas!!!!
The much bigger yachts can take $400,000 worth of fuel in one fill up.
No matter how rich you are, free fuel is free fuel.
Repo man with moral integrity, and in NYC to boot!
Great story man. Everyone who hears your story about the mom & kids will tear up.
I wish these were longer form. I love car stories like this.
Seth is awesome. So glad to have had the chance to hear his stories.
Bless you Seth for showing a little Grace and charity to another human. You can never go wrong doing God's work.
Seriously, they don’t have any friends that aren’t assholes

a fawkin moped 🤣
Hard to imagine a repo man being so charitable. Incredible story--good guy!
As a former Lotus Esprit owner, I was tickled pink to hear a Lotus story!
He is the exception for sure.
The one and only time I had a car repossessed the tow company was very professional and polite. I also didn't freak out and throw a tantrum like a lot of people so 🤷😂
You are a good man for changing her life. God bless you brother.
I actually feel bad for the vector guy, he just wanted his car fixed 😢
Same
He should probably have paid for it then
@MustangGT4 my 86 is broken and I've stopped paying for it
@ excited to watch the “wHy did ThEY taKe My CaR?!” video on your channel!
@@MustangGT4 if its on lease you don't pay for repairs...

The last story makes everything else worth while. I love when good people tell stories.

the last story is truly inspirational and heart melting. God Bless
The guy R*ping a UNDERCOVER NYPD and fleeing the country is WILD! How do you make bond with that kinda charge and aren’t charged and put under the jail immediately?
I'm sure the victim and their cop colleagues were pissed at the judge for offering any type of bond.
The repo bussines is like septic pumping, is a dirty bussiness, but it makes good money😂😂😂
Always enjoy seeing Seth videos to start the day. Thanks everyone for the best content. Have a great day!

I saw that car after it first got built down in florida when i was a kid. Crazy looking vehicle.
SETH!!!! What a blast from the past
Hope all well ol bud
Here with him now LOL, he was like who tf is that clown?
@@borismcfinnigan3430yea sure
Great episode! More of this guy!

The last story is proof that there's still some good rich guys out there, it's nice to see people with money using it to help someone else.
A man who helps people explicitly homeless woman with kids deserves a big yeaght. What a cool guy
You could tell he didn’t really wanna tell the last story. But, I’m so glad he did. Maybe it will inspire someone else to do the same. How cool!
Props to this gentleman and his team. Props to VinWiki for having him. I enjoyed this one.
I had my truck stolen by a bank error. No apology but they did steal some stuff and charge me $500.
A billionaire mega yacht owner is just someone you don’t want to have problems with lol
BS should have sued his ass off
Wow. You are a good guy. Thank you for kindness that you have showed people. It's gives everyone motivation.
Had friend that worked on the repo business he changed careers recently he said the amount of horrible stuff you have to see or deal with was not worth it

You're a good man, bless you.

Damn near shed a tear listening to that last story
Finally a great story. Major shoutouts to this guy wow
A truly good man with some exciting stories.
That last story made me want To cry. What a good guy.
Great stories, especially the last one. These are the people we want to hear stories from.

The last story is in fact THE BEST story!
I'm a service manager at Firestone and those a/t ascents are sweet we just got a bunch of them
Also our nationwide sale starts today and runs through Sunday
Robert mercer. 8:45.
If anyone wants to know more about Robert Mercer, Jane Mayer wrote a book about him. UA-cam has Interviews with her about it

Can't go wrong with repo stories. Always entertaining.
Why aren’t you viral yet?!
2 million subs...?
bot
Dang, he had his family bail him out for 200k, then took off and left them owing the entire 2 mill.
Amazing stuff here
What a legend God bless him!
this was a great video, very good story teller
Hard working, down to earth, takes no shit... RESPECT...
Great stories
Is vinwiki back. First good story in years. And it was a good story. Great example of being a responsible business man
10:29 super nice to help out Coco and her shun IceT
It’s some good to know that there’s still good people in the world
Seth has the best stories.
More stories like the last one would be great
Awesome! Your a gem!!
Does anyone else stop watching VinWiki for a month just so they can binge watch all of that month's episodes? Or just me?
The story at the end made it
I'm just hit the thumbs up for the last story
Great stories!
I was a repo man, got a GT-40 once with a funny story
Ferrari from a professional driver.
It’s been interesting
After finding out Bridgestone is going to be a vinWiki sponsor..
Ed: "Hey could you make me a high speed tire for my Veyrone?"
Bridgestone: "Unfortunately, we only make high speed tires for a *Veyron."*
Title fooled me, I was expecting to hear about the 1984 movie with that name
I was working at Blinder Robinson, and we took Vector public. Unfortunately, Jerry blew the money and never really made the cars. What a chitshow!
Thank you for going after the deadbeats to make credit easier for the rest of us
Ed Bolan: I have a Black and Gold Countach that I need to shrewdly negotiate in NYC.
Ps the body builder def Salina like Dave Polumbo
Ed needs to find and buy that Countach
Cool stories
7 doesn't sound that bad honestly, I would have guessed more tbh. Seems pretty safe job overall!
Love this - what a great guy !!! You hear such awful things about repo and there there’s this guy - great story !!!
$130k… down payment on his first yacht. Not just his yacht, but his first yacht… geeeeez, I wish I could get a free tattoo removal machine to sell for a $130k so I could buy a dang house! 😂
Why did somebody just start cutting onions at the last of that video?

That's a stand up guy right there
Imagine being wined and dined for a mistaken repo being returned due to a banking error?
Yall better go get that countach
The picture you showed was a Dodge magnum, not a cargo van WinStar
Wonder how much he rewarded the honest employee who alerted him to the 130k machine 🤔
Thats a good man!
"Repo man's always intense!"
I wonder how much the NYPD want for that Lambo
Repo and valet stories crack me up. 😅
The vector story literally is him admitting to breaking the law to repo a car. It’s law they cannot be deceptive in practices
Dude forced himself on a undo and got bail 😭 that’s the most American thing I ever heard
For being a professional repossessor dude has a good heart!
Niiiice !👍

5:00 so you just committed fraud by impersonating as a "Vector Representative" ? damn, here in Sweden you get prison time for that.
I want to be remembered as "a nice guy"!
Cool storys
Bro should have left that damn car lol
I feel like RepoNut woukd have been on VinWiki before he went odf the deep end.
7:45 the most crazy part is that you Americans have urns in your home with dead relatives.
That's not an American thing. Europeans also do it all the time. In fact, we got the practice from them.
30k for fuel?! Dayum.. Definitely worth a dinner … lol
Awesomeness
What a guy
someone get this guy into office this is the kinda action we need today !
