- I took an angle grinder to a McLaren!
This is my craziest challenge to date, turning a custom Lanzante built McLaren P1 GTR and turn it into the world's wildest drift hypercar - in only 100 days!
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be cutting into a multi-million dollar McLaren with no rules, and then unveiling it at one of my favourite events on earth - the Goodwood Festival of Speed!
MADMAC will truly be the maddest McLaren in existence, if I can turn this dream into a reality…

Finally somebody mad enough to spoon a rotary engine into a supercar. I'm definately watching every episode of this series.
You mean someone stupid enough... let's take this state of art P1 hybrid drive hypercar and put a shit rotary engine in it. I like rotary engines, but not in this type of car. You know there is a reason NO MANUFACTURER makes new vehicles with rotary engines.
P1 is hyper car and not super car.... But i agree only mad Mike can do that.... Thinking where could fit 4rotor now 🤣

@@johndc2998 moza products are pretty good in general, but they're made for simracing. But if someone made it work on a P1 GTR, I guess it works.

@@johndc2998 nah, but they're actually a sim-racing shifter. i've got one of the H shifters myself, extremely tight-feeling shifter. requires quite a bit of force (at least to me, im tiny tho.)

Can't wait to see the rest, this beast is setting it self up to be, not only, the maddest McLaren on the planet but the Sickest drift car on the planet. Have to appreciate all the hard work and little details that goes into making these one offs.
I was in the workshop around the corner from where he had it tuned maybe like 5 6 days ago, oh my lord the noises it makes, they did atleast 30 pulls when I was at my mates shop. I'd be working along and then hear a pull about to start.. everyone would have to just stop what they were doing and listen, both because it was loud asf and it sounds glorious hahaha
