I think its more on the wolves refusing to make adjustments at the5. Luka and kyrie are killing gobert but their coach decides to keep him. Unlike OKC who had Chet who can space the floor tremendously but also defend and switxh better than gobert
I can’t believe they both didn’t understand what he was saying. SGA is great but there is another gear of takeover he can get to, I know he trust his teammates and that’s the OKC offense but sometimes down the stretch SGA needs to live and die with the ball in his hands.
I agree we need more size, but it's ironic everyone wants to give up on 21 yr old JG who has a ton more rebounds over the last 3 seasons than anyone on this roster.
Presti gotta get some size, Jdub at the 4 ain’t gonna work against every team. I’ve been saying this the whole year. Chet needs help on the boards BADLY and get rid of Giddey, get someone that can play that connector role better in their offense. Giddey is a liability
First time watching your stream. Not sure what the guy in the middles name is but Lu Dort didn't want to take that many shots. Jdub and a lot of the role players struggled so bad this series and were constantly kicking to Dort instead of driving or creating there own shots.. Dort just wasn't scared to shoot it. The losses cannot be put on Dort tho. He shot 40 percent from 3 on the season and has always elevated his game in the playoffs. He was just genuinely tired from guarding Luka and Kyrie all series. Luka scored 19,29,18,22,29,31.. like to hold Luka an mvp caliber player who averages 34 a game and generally elevates his play in the playoffs is no easy task. Next year will be different, all the young guys will have experience now and Sam Presti the gm has said he will not be scared to go get help for this team. He also said he'll go over cap and sign the core and make sure to pay them. The owners have agreed they made a mistake with the harden situation and said that same presti has full control on going over the cap.
There's no upgrade in the nba for Lu dorts defense. He's the best perimeter defender in the league. And 40 from 3. We just need a 4 who can play d, pass and shoot and we're going to be fine. Jdub shouldn't be so scared next year. That and a back up big
Presti will probably keep staying firm and let Jdub and Chet develop. See if one or both of them make the jump to become elite. Though he should make moves to solidify the front court atleast.
Just get a backup big and we good I'd rather save the picks for when this team is going to get expensive and were going to need these draft picks at the very least for trade assets 2-3 years down the line to at the very least have as trade assets to continue to build that depth when SGA J-Dub and Chet get expensive
I don't think getting like an OG is realistic option since Ik the knicks dont wanna let him go but a Nic Claxton would be someone I think OKC can pull off and sign him. I've also read that many OKC fans wanna get Deni from the Wiz which I think is also kinda unrealistic You'd need to give up a lot for the Wizards to move off him. It would probably take Giddey and multiple first-round picks. Presti would only make that deal if he was certain that Deni was the missing piece to a championship. As much as I like Deni, he is more of a third or fourth option on a really good team, and the Wizards are a long way from being that. They need proper star players.
Its unfair to say Thunder ownership might just be cheap. Now they have a new bldg coming. Last time Presti wasn't told they will keep the Big 3 together. Also the NBA Landscape has changed since Harden trade. Now, if JDub or Chet is traded, they'll get the equivalent of 5 or 6 1st rd picks & could quickly pivot. They didn't have the economics, war chest of Picks, young assets or an experienced GM to successfully pivot. It's apples & oranges.
I think this wolves series shows how valuable Dort is. He slowed down Luka more than anyone ever has.

@@mduar1000 give Dort his flowers man, he did about as good a job as you can on Luka
@@cmac9141 true.
Successful season all in all gave the youngest team in the league 2 series of experience
The only negative for the thunder this year was getting Gordon Hayward, outside of that they had an A+ season

I been sayin a Jaren Jackson type rather than a BIG big
Jdub was not even the 4. Giddy was supposed to be the 4
@@jermainemcclain5365Dang Triple J would be insane on OKC. I dont think The Grizzlies let him go though 😂😂😂
Ended up getting Caruso
For the NBA as a whole, the Thunder's performance and $35 million in cap space are worrisome. They also don't need to lose a single rotation player.
The Thunder doesn’t need another scorer they need bigs that can rebound and protect the rim
They could barely score 100+ in the playoffs they very desperately need another scorer. They need two in one as in a good PF
@@jermainemcclain5365 I mean they’re young they need to move Chet at the 4 J dub is only in his 2nd year and Chet they’re only going to get better
We need OG!!!!
Just found your page. Keep grinding. Add some NBA footage and your vids would be better

Trade Lu for Dort. OG is a premium version of him
Go get Devi
Okc ain’t cheep lol they was paying luxury tax with the Russ pg teams but it ain’t work out

SGA is a great shooting guard, they need bigs and a better PG these hybrids pg’s that aren’t elite shot creators struggle as the playoffs get deeper
You are insane if you think SGA isn’t a PG
You’re telling me you can watch SGA and say he isn’t one of the most elite shot creators in the game?😂 He’s the best isolation player in the comp
Kyrie was there for the outback regardless it was going to be an L if they just never made the call
Thunder up!
