I understand the notion and history of Jaylen Brown being a 2/shooting guard, but due to the fact that Jrue Holiday and Derrick White are the preferred back court. I now look at Brown as the small forward/3 and Jayson Tatum as the Power Forward/4. This is all reliant on the fact that Kristaps Porzingus and Al Horford are the 5/Stretch 5. Long story short, I don't really even view Brown as a 2 anymore. I would argue that Derrick White is the 2 and he may be top 10.
Brown has the luxury to play as the second option. He gets to attack when there’s already an advantage created for him, attacking space,or in transition. More people have to acknowledge being the first and second option is way different. I’d say Edwards, Brown, Mitchell top3 currently

Jason Tatum Sucked in that game too like he did throughout this championship 2024 and in 2022, and don't tell me he was injured, he played 43 minutes in game 7. Yes, Brown didn't play great in game seven, but might I remind you that he had a deep cut on his right hand, and the first half the offense was still being run through Tatum and in the 3rd quarter it was being run through White, finally in the fourth when the game was out of reach, then you ask Brown to win the game, but by then he was just trying to hard and was making dumb mistakes. PS there is a reason that he won MVP of the championship....something that the other 3 have never done.

Both guys really played pedestrian when it comes to offense, in reality the team defense was the one that really won the championship.
