Not many aeroplanes pull off a big advert on their belly but this one sure does! 😄👍😎❤️
Takes the safe option and butters in the next attempt. Sign of a very good pilot
The A380 goes around automatically if it detects windshear. No pilot input required.
Fantastic camera work Andy and weren’t you in the right place to capture it👍
Real reason Maybe ryan air was coming hot from behind 😂😂😂😂
If I was on board, I’d be hoping I was going back to Dubai for an extra holiday.
I was on it
Smooth landing. Nice filming 👍
Enjoyed your video. The King is definitely an appropriate term. Your comments were a nice touch too!
Fantastic footage and commentary 👏🏼
Thanks for sharing! Great view from below.
That was beautiful!!! love it!!
Great footage of an EK go around 👍🏽👍🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Been on EK17 from Manchester to Dubai Dubai Manchester 3-4 times fantastic aircraft.
Top class video that beautiful A380 classic plane
Beautiful!
Cripes I wouldnt want land in that if I was coming in during a UK winter storm then. Lovely shots. I wish I lived near an airport wouldnt want a tv. 🤣
I also was on board 😁
oooft that landing after was butter
Very professional
Nice spot!
Amazing king sky👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
I saw this from my window, the engine roar was right at my house
Brilliant
thats a good view
I think I saw this while in Manchester last weekend.
Fabulous

Awesome. Love the belly.
EK17,DXB-MAN,A6-EEI 11 September 2022
That's called a Go-Around.
Assuming this was 11 September, or 9/11 ironically, I was on board also. Pilot indicated a wind shear warning.
The go around was pilot discretion, so many a captain would have just put the big bird down... Depends how risk averse they are I suppose. Nice butter on 2nd attempt...
Fab video
Nice
Wow👑👑👑👑
Scary moment
Is this today because it looks like what happened when I was at the center on Sunday 11th?
This is from Sunday :)
Just to confirm. Is that was the flight which landed on 11.09 Sunday 12:00? :)
Yes this was EK17 on Sunday 11th.
When was this? I was on yesterday’s EK17… wasn’t that flight.
Sunday 11th September.
@@AirlinersLive I was going to say… I’d be impressed if I didn’t feel that on the top deck 😝
@@JohnD88 what class?
Hello
I was in that flight ✈️
couldn’t see the issue to be honest
A6-EUK?
A6-EEI
Did we find out why it aborted in the end ?
It's in the video :)
I was there
What happened?
@@HH-qe3sr Everyone was excited to see it land but then it pulled it’s nose up and did a go-around
Oh dear . ...I see great u landed all safe.
they carnt deal with 18 knots cross wind.
The A380 is certificated for a maximum crosswind of 40 knots.
😭😭😭
The A380 wind-shear system seems very over sensitive. I’m not aware of what the conditions at Manchester were, but I bet no one else flew a missed approach because of WS.
Wind shear affects heavy aircraft much more than lighter ones, because of their greater inertia.
@@gzk6nk no, the A380 seems more susceptible to it compared to, for example the 77W.
@@EdOeuna It's heavier?
@@EdOeuna Do you have any evidence to support your assertion? I've flown A380s on Emirates and Thai without any go-arounds, whereas I've experienced 777-200/300 go-arounds on BA and KLM (which may have been due to reasons other than windshear), but I wouldn't claim that one aircraft is more susceptible to windshear-induced go-arounds than the other.
If you don't know what the prevailing climatic conditions were at Manchester, and if you don't have any evidence whether or not any other aircraft went around because of a windshear warning, then it seems a pretty pointless and silly comment to make, doesn't it? The aircraft landed smoothly and safely after a few minutes' delay and that's what matters.
dead
That’s 3:45 of my life taken by you nerds ffs
Then don’t watch it lol
