i like the 梅菜扣肉 in joo siah bakuteh ya. very tender~
Enaq prata is very good, though I will say their dough is sweet! Not just subtle sweet. Service still quite fast for a great and busy shop that does prata on the spot.
Went to vision exchange last week. The japanese Gyu has closed down since Sept. They hv one new outlet in NUH main building
The Lai Lai U-Mian stall at Yuhua place is very good for its dried version with chili.
did it close down? :( do u know if he shifted or?
@@1ako415 I saw it closed down permanently. I do not know if it shifted
Zai Shun is one of the friendliest (and fastest) service in any neighborhood…..especially the auntie who asked you to stop filming….though you are right to say they don’t need anymore business…..the auntie always runs around the table like roadrunner during the peak hours….
no doubt fast service - personal experience is it's quite hard to place an order cos they are sooo busy
@@Sethluifoodtravel I am with Seth with their service. Not unfriendly but not friendly either. Busy I guess. Maybe only friendly to regulars they recognise
I want a fluffy slightly crispy exterior prata, so difficult to find one like those I've had in Malaysia. These are like deep fried dough already....and yes they have sambal for your pratas. The Indian stall at my neighborhood has it too so is not that rare hehe.
Yea I realize roti canai in Malaysia does it differently with the sambal, while SOME pratas in SG do also serve it!
How about Taman Jurong Hawker? Got another good pancake stall, Lor mee and roast meat!! Head over for an episode 😉
That's in Jurong west, will do an episode there soon!
@@Sethluifoodtravel Taman Jurong has one of the best hawker Mutton Soup in Singapore. Their opening hours is erratic though. They do not stick to their listed hours.
Want to try GYU CO one day🤤
you should! sibei ulu place thou
It's honestly just 1 can of beer with food... but..... did seth just drink and drive?? :D
Where is Part 2?
Bedok reservoir prawn mee for bedok ep?
bedok episode someday!
Quite happy, he went to a few places but didn’t managed to share some of the good food. Hidden gem stays hidden! LOL
share leh
HAHAHA I'm content just seeing Matthew in the videos 😅
Stay till after the logo end for a bonus scene :p
You should try the chicken rice next time after the chicken import is back .
the bkt standard dropped a lot after they shifted from the market to here
yea i noticed
@@Sethluifoodtravel quite disappointed to know that the prime rib meat is tough...
The Bak Kut Teh at the Yuhua food centre is much much better than Joo Siah IMO. Maybe you can consult a foodie staying in the area before filming so you don't waste your trip and effort! Great coverage though, you covered many of my top stalls.
Was actually trying to decide between that or Joo Siah cos a lot of people were eating it!
that looks more like a poori than a prata
Technically this wasn't deep fried to have that hollow centre
west side is backside (the way he pronounce).. hahahaha..
pek side!
He looks like he is homeless .. dude ..
The stall for steam fish so moody one.... probably rude. Aiyah to me if you good but rude .... sorry pass!! Not worth! Pay money see your bad attitude ar🙄🙄
At 18.42, did you actually say, "Don't be so anal about it"? At least, that's what was featured on the subtitles.
Is this expression distinctly Singaporean or Chinese or something? What does it mean? What is it supposed to mean?
Hilarious, to say the least!
