For dinner, they have TWO great curry fish head zi char @taman Jurong for dinner. One at lvl 2, another at lvl 3. The BBQ stingray which is on level 3 on the far right (when facing the escalator from level 1 > 2) is fantastic too!
Hi Seth thanks for the feature of my mum's stall (tian tian xiang) and that you enjoyed the porridge. Welcome you to try her double boiled soups that she sells for dinner, if you come to Boon Lay hawker centre again next time.
Taman Jurong has more to offer. Try the bar chor mee which closes in the afternoon. And also try the bbq fish (String ray, Lala usually in good size and lastly the squid) in the night near the fruit drink stall.
The young tau foo opposite the Feng Zhen lot Mee is very good and super value for money. Very long queue at 730am. 2nd floor got a Mee Chiang Kueh by a young couple also quite nice, orh nee one nice and can add peanut to any flavours
You guys totally missed Chicken Supremo, IMHO one of the best (and cheapest) western stalls in Singapore. Be prepared for at least a half an hour wait though.
I can't remember what you covered in Part 1. Did you guys go to JW 505 market? There are lots of good food there? If you have not, maybe can do Part 3? LOL
@@Sethluifoodtravel thanks for checking out Taman Jurong! Im referring to the pancake at Taman Jurong Hawker, same row as Tien Lai.. further down, you missed it this round 😉 next time try maybe
So nice to watch both of you, especially Gary! ❤️ thou I kinda doubt if Singapore chicken rice really better than Penang (I'm a proud Penangnites here) hahaha..
I think many people agree Penang has the best street food across Malaysia! Chicken rice though vs SG... Have to agree to disagree haha. bUt, your char kway teow wins hands down
Well, as an Indian from India, I can hope to bring in a more neutral view. Clearly, the Singaporean Chicken Rice is way superior to Penang. In Singapore, the Hainanese Chicken Rice is almost an art form. Likewise, I prefer the Laksa, Hokkien Mee and the Bak Kut Teh you get in Singapore. All three are way more pungent in Penang, particularly the herbed BKT and the Asam Laksa. For me, the greatest memories of Penang are the CKTs (I've been to all the 8-10 most famous ones) and the Kway Teow Th'ngs. I absolutely love the latter, which, I think, has been almost perfected to an art form in Penang, much like the Chicken Rice in Singapore. I also loved the Two Sisters' Curry Mee and the two famous Cendol shops in Jalan Penang. My Cendol experience in Singapore was an unmitigated disaster!!! Another memory of Penang is this place where I had this spectacular Ipoh Chicken!!! As for the Kaya Toast, I think Singapore is way better. That said, the Chinese coffee shop culture (with the famous hawkers on the periphery of these shops) makes Penang the street food capital of Asia, in my view. Last but not least, some of the more famous Nasi Kandar shops in Penang offered some of the best Indian food I've ever had abroad.
Just stumbled across this Chanel and it's really out of character for me to leave a mediocre 'keep it up guys!!' type of comment but seriously, well done. I love the level of detail you go to and the fact that you don't appear to be pandering to an audience of ten year olds as some of the more prolific channels. Stay up!
ouch....you bought from the wrong stall for chwee kueh at taman jurong food centre....the stall you are sitting directly in front of served by the hunched old man is the one
Power nasi lemak best “hype” is it opens till very late night, and fed many a few generations of late nighters and shift workers around Jurong for a long time….and while not the best, it does taste good
Lol, luckily non of the hidden gems of jurong west is showcase here. Thank god!
Alright then, keep your secrets😞
i enjoyed gary's appearance! also want to see what will get him to rate a 4 and above hahah

Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre has great BBQ Stingray at night!
U reviewed power nasi lemak twice on this show, with different ratings??
different feeling on different day i guess
Since you’re at Jurong West, should do a review on NTU’s food… hahaha
Think the Gen Zs will look at me weird haha
There's more food at jurong west blk 505 market
Maybe ask for empty plates instead of sharing from same plate?
But like... More washing 🥲
