Purchased the Model Y on 4/30 but last night I saw the promotion and contact Tesla about canceling the first purchase (which was ready for pickup on 5/15) in order to get the 0.99% APR promotion. They told me absolutely I can and that they would transfer my down payment as well as not have to pay the new $250 order fee! W by Tesla and allows me to save over $5k in interest and save more on my monthly payment.
Does it depend on your credit also
@@713-Jacob No, in the credit score option you will see promotion so whether yours is excellent or low you will still get the 0.99% APR which if you are thinking about getting the car just do it. I personally got the Long Range AWD in white with the white seats :)
I wanted a model 3, but the current promotion on the model y is hard to pass on
Trading my Model 3 in because the Model Y has a signifigantly better ride quality + the full solid glass roof. Feels like you get more bang for your buck.
Honestly, with 0.99% APR financing the Model Y + Federal Tax Credit.... Man it's really HARD to pass on this deal... HUGE savings! 💰🚗

@@evilwhitey98 I live in Pa. Apparently there is a bunch of brand new 2023 Model Y awd Lr that was never sold from NY state that got redistributed to my local dealers, they have 5k discount, qualify 7500 and 0.99% apr. 37k after 7500 and 5000 discount.

Picking up my Y on Tuesday. .99% sold me with the 7500 tax credit. This will be my first Tesla! Got it in blue like my 2014 Corvette C7 Z51.

What does your monthly payment look like?

I have a 2024 Model Y LR. My decision was based on dollars. I have other cars to drive, but I wanted something that has utility and I didn't have to pay increasing dollars at the pump. So anything that was $5k more would not have been worth it. $5k buys a lot gas. Model Y is a perfectly good vehicle. When I bought, Model Y I did get the $7500 tax credit. Model Y LR with white and white was $43.9k out the door in Calif. Get car for that price.

Any insight as to whether MY Juniper release (whenever it may come) will qualify for full Federal tax credit? Acknowledging that tax code could change in 2025.
I'm waiting for the Juniper to decide, but any advice on which is the best for solo camping? Y or 3?
Model Y more room! I love my model Y especially for camping!
Wait until the end of the year. When Juniper features start to leak, Tesla will have to price the older version to move. Then you can make an informed decision on features vs price.
@@OceanGuy808 That's I'll most probably do. I'm based in Europe so I'm excited to see which updated battery pack from BYD or CATL will Tesla pick for the GigaBerlin. If the standard range approaches the range of the Highland, I think I would go for this one. Camping in a model Y seems dope with some proper equipments!
I own a model 3 performance. I could pick the Y performance but I just love sedans. Being a father of two kids I considered the Y because of the space but the 3 has a lot of space, enough for me.
On very rare occasions the Y would be best in terms of loading cargo but still I'm very happy with my M3P.
Actually I'm thinking whether to sell it and buy the all new M3P but there is one thing that stops me. When I bought my M3P, its tag price was higher than it is today. Still thinking 🤔

Man idk it’s a good deal but that’s $500 plus 200 in insurance. For someone who has no car payment and only pay around $100 a month on insurance this is a trap 😂
Just did a short term lease on the M3P and will wait for the Model Y P. Disappointed that we could only get the M3P in Grey with White interior instead of red. That cap for the $7500 rebate is tight. But the slam deal is really the Y right now but as soon as Juniper comes out it’s going to be a Legacy model and these cars are depreciating at a high rate annually
The discount is amazing for the Y right now, but “why“ not wait 6 months or so for the refresh and have your cake and eat it too. 🤷🏼♂️🍰

I'm still holding out for the MY refresh in midnight🍒, or maybe quicksilver. The current prices are tempting but I really want and will apprecaite the upgraded features.

well, you covered the whole enchilada. I bought the 2023 Y with the upfront tax credit and 10,000 charging miles. Sadly financed at 3.74% and watched the resale crash. Hoping to get $30K and buy the new 2024 Y deal with tax credit and .99% financing. I really want to wait for the 2025 3- performance, or the Y Juniper, but hard to miss the Low finance rate and tax credit. tI need the room for my sails and skis. I can even sleep comfortably in it on road trips.

Sooooo many changes, so Haaaard to decide. BUT you helped clear the weeds away. I always kept my cars 6-10 years. grabbed the 2023 Tesla Y deal, and LOVE it, but between the 3.74% loan and the HUGE price drop, I find myself looking at another Tesla incentive on the 2024. Love the 3- but need the Y room. I want to wait for the Juniper, but $$$$ are important and I doubt I will see another under 1% financing or tax credit deal- especially after the election

@RobertRosenfeld1 - I don’t qualify for the US EV tax credit. I drove a MYLR 2021 for almost 3 years and was looking for a new driving experience, but wanted to stay with Tesla. Without the EV tax credit, the price difference between the MYLR 2024 and M3LR 2024 is only a couple hundred dollars. Given that, I went with the M3LR 2024. Very happy with my choice.
The new MY is not going to come out "soon", at least not for this year.

That may be because you are paying a premium with its Chinese parts that disqualify it from rebate. You collaborate and fraternize with Chinese, cancelled
Agreed. The 2024 model 3 is amazing. The ride is smooth due to upgraded suspension, , very quiet cabin, extremely comfortable, and quick acceleration. It's honestly an AMAZING car.

For me personally something about the 3 exterior I don’t like. For me, looks aesthetics from the exterior then the interior is what matters to me most so that is why I went with the model Y.
Until Juniper arrives i say none of them.
Model Y is the best choice... but wait for the refresh.. here is most likely a few 6 months. I took delivery of my 2018 Model 3 New in 2018 really love it. That being said lack of a hatchback really sucks in so many ways. The looks of the 3 is so nice... it comes with a cost. Harsh ride and lots of road noise. As for range, the changing networks solves this. Never been stranded and I have only one time had to wait for a supercharger. The refreshed Model Y will be the best foot forward in the future... at least in my eyes...

Tesla said no refresh this year, so probably first quarter 2025.
The term "very soon" is used VERY loosely 😅
3 no stalks, so that’s why the Y is better.
IMO.. If you want the latest and greatest, extremely nimble car, the Model 3 performance hands down is the way to go with the $7,500 tax credit. Savings wise with the tax credit, then it’s the Model Y LR RWD.
I had the same debate between M3 and M3P, decided to go with the M3 as the Performance has staggered tires and comes with Summer tires from factory, for rainy places we need to get All Season Tires without discounts as we can’t buy a 4 set, costing around 2K.
Any one know about model X might have a new change like model 3 and Y soon?

I like Tesla, but you guys need to read the fine print. You will only get the $7500 tax credit if you owe $7500 in taxes.

Please stop talking about price discounts for Tesla vehicles. We here in the UK are still expected to pay £60K for a Y Performance - £10k more than for the same RHD in the Republic of Ireland and way more again than in the USA, Canada or Australia. We only get offered LHD Model S & X, at extortionate premium over the USA and 10% finance rate and I'll bet, only LHD Cybertruck, when and IF we ever get offered it in the UK. It's hard to keep up enthusiasm for Tesla vehicles when we are crapped upon so readily.

The Tesla Y car is a joke! poor fit and finish! can't open the car door at times! 240$ per month in insurance cost, I am a perfect second driver too over 30, warning can't just call the dealership if you have issues ! wheels get road rash just by looking at them, tires are poor just look at the face, prices change every month so my value goes down not stable company what a joke, I want my money back Tesla,
3rd choice for me, ie neither one. All you get is an overhyped meme car with cheap interior.
