Think about the percentage of people wo are going to down heroic nefarion. Accessibility is often more valuable than #1 BiS that's very difficult to get, plus rng drop, plus rng roll. I haven't played cata so I don't REALLY know what I'm taking about, but I feel like it's a good rule of thumb. Accessability is king for most players. Edit: If it's the sword from archeology, he did say phase 1 BiS.

Another note here is that since transmog is coming in cata, the sl*tmogs will be insanely valuable. Im talking the plate: Glorious, Lofty, jade, vanguard, bloodscale set. Theres like 5 other sets from mail and some certain leather pants too that will be valuable, so if you get them or see them for under 1k on the AH then i highly recommend buying them, waiting for launch and then selling them for massive profit.
Felhunter is best raid pet for demonology. It’s really awkward, because demo dps has to pet swap after opener for most damage because felhunter shadow bite is 30% increase per dot at 85. It’s honestly depressing because like you said, it’s counterintuitive. I want them to rework the pets so you can not waste a soul shard on pet swapping, etc.
The beta feels like there are a lot of things from Wrath still left in that shouldn't be there. Hopefully these will be fixed soon. But then again I remember back in the Wrath beta they didn't fix Glyph of Quick Decay until 2 weeks before launch so who knows...
Your dots feel anemic while leveling as affli because theye balanced around your mastery and demon soul and haunt all stacking at max. Destro is opop because it bursts and has better self heal than affli ironically.
Hey! I want to ask in cataclysm I can reach lvl 80 maybe more? everything is different from dragonflight,talent tree has more talents as I can see for example etc…I play demonology warlock now,do you sagest to go distraction? thank you…
zinrokh isnt bis the heroic nef sword is better. but its still really good. its comparable to normal mode weapons

Level 85 is max in cataclylsm, and demonology warlock is amazing!
