Probably too old a video to have anyone read this, but this is a great product, and kudos on packing a tapered roller bearing with grease the correct way. But, at one point when pressing the lower bearing on it says "using the spacer we determined we needed back at the bike"??

This is very informative video. I just started the mods on my CB350 using the ZX6R forks with the Cognito Motor stem. All their videos are very helpful.
I got my custom width GSXR trees to mount onto a Honda frame and Harley Softail wheels, and they work well, and are works of art!!!!...I'm VERY happy with Cognito!
Very instructive video. Your products looks excellent, but it would be nice to see you use proper tools for extracting and inserting bearings into the steering head ;-) And as a fan of older bikes I cringed when the wires where cut and the old instruments crushed - I hope they were already broken.
I really like the cognito products and used to have a cool feeling about the company, but when I see him throwing the cluster like that I was like whuuut? And he is very clumsy using the tools, it's like when you met your hero and leave very disappointed
I love this. Thank you. I love the conversion stems you make. I done two conversions now. Best $180 and $220 I've ever spent! Thanks for sharing your brain and talent with the rest of us Devin!
Very good and useful presentation. It looks like your Custom Replacement upper tree does not have clamps for the down tubes. Clamping the upper tree to the tubes will make the whole fork assembly more rigid. If I buy your conversion stem, I will probably keep the original upper and lower tree...
I've got a 1980 cb900f and its had a gsxr 750 engine fitted in it still standard Honda wheels and brakes quite a project sorting the wiring loom out spliced between Honda and Suzuki be great when its finished
I'M SO EXCITED TO SLOWLY SPEND WAY TO MUCH MONEY WITH YOU GUYS! Got ahold of a 1983 Honda CB550 nighthawk. Totally gonna get a fork conversion setup first, rearset with the master cylinder bracket (for the future) and then wheels with a rear brake hub. Totally excited. I assume I can email question about the fork offset..? When I get closer to ordering that is.
Excellent video, I have a dumb question . I’m new to the sport so my knowledge is limited, why the GSX-R fork ? I’m sure I’m missing something but any info on this would be appreciated.
We can do this with any fork. The GSX-R fork is just being used for this demo, but they are more popular because there are many of them available, and the cost is lower.
@@CognitoMotoTV sounds good , like I said I’m new and I appreciate all the feedback I can get your products look outstanding and pricing is well within budget. Thanks for your help and your expert videos.

So is it possible to get a longer rake angled triple clamp, but for the original shocks. Saying if anyone wanted to turbo there bike, but want to move the front tire straight forwards a couple of inches to clear.
yes has a fan,,,I know it lower the front and also the front frok will b e closer to the engine...it shorter the distance of the front whell. Me I keep the original fork and install a 18 inch front wheell for honda cx 650 turbo so it look better the the 19 inch with high profil tire. the 18 inch have lower tire profil, IMPORTANT the front frok of any Honda fireblade 929 fit bolt on !!!
I'd like to hear your advice on what fork setup to use on an '82 XL500R. I'm thinking of doing a scrambler/tracker conversion on it. I'd be decreasing the 21" front wheel to the rear wheels size I suppose. TIA~!

I would love a conversion kit for my 77 Suzuki GS550. It's pretty much UJM = to the CB550, but I'm not sure about the rake and sizing of the bearings, triple, stem etc. I looked on the site, and see that you guys specialize in basically classic Honda parts. Would you guys be able to make a conversion kit for an 09-17ish GSXR fork/GSXR (brembo) brake conversion for my GS550? Send me a link so I can supply you with my P.I. Thanks

Any conversion stems to fit 2005 zx10r forks to a 98 honda vtr1000f firestorm?
What are you measuring to determine what spacer you need under the stem race?
You just want to be sure that the lower clamp does not hit the frame. So the spacers should stick out past the steer tube.

Does anyone here know if those parts are street legal in Germany? Because sadly We have very tough laws when it comes to customize your vehicle.
We do not have TUV certificate for Germany. We can provide documentation with materials used but you would need to have it inspected.
