Spoked wheels on retro or classic motorcycles are absolutely gorgeous. I wish they would come as a standard on certain motorcycles.

Some are starting to bring them back. They come standard on the base Ducati Multistrada now...

Your explanation on Rake, Offset and Trail were exactly what I have been seeking for years. Thanks for taking the time to explain it. The other thing I learned is that you don't charge enough for wheel lacing. YOU are right, it is a work of art to lace and true a wheel. Watching those needles barely move when you were finished, proves that! Great video, packed with information that fellow "Wanna-be-Makers" like me, are always on the hunt for!

After an hour of reading online I think I finally understand this offset and trail thing lol. But great explanation on why it’s important to adjust offset when changing tire size!

Excellent class 101 on spike wheels. I’ve never pay too much attention about that on my old bikes. Thanks.

What is the reason for running all of the spokes 'inboard' on the flanges? Coming from lacing and building wheels in the bicycle world, spokes are commonly alternated inboard/outboard on each flange, providing more lateral stiffness thanks to the increased bracing angle.
I'm assuming that the spoke lengths you have are in accordance with the inboard pattern, but I'm wondering if you a particular reason for lacing this way, and if not, if you have a program for determining spoke length based on the hubs measurements (flange diameter, flange offset, rim E.R.D (effective rim diameter))
    Thanks.

Can the spokes be ordered in black, or are they only available in raw metal?
