They had several children before Sarah passed away. It is a bit unusual that her husband didn't remarry but maybe he lived with his children and was taken care of by them during his years of being a widower. Her stone does look nice and will brighten up more as the D2 works its magic. I'm so glad that somebody figured out how to be able to clean old headstones without damaging them. I bet Sarah would be tickled to know that you made her earthly memorial look nice after all these years of weather.❤

@@sandysue202 I was glad I was able to find her children and give a bit of a back story for her. So many times it’s difficult when they passed before 1850

Beautiful stone that will be even more gorgeous once the D2 has a chance to work on it a bit. Amazing backstory work on this one. I’m amazed at how many girls they had with only one boy towards the end. It always makes me wonder what kind of lives these people actually lived. I know that they would not have been easy especially compared to the lives we live now.
Thank you for again giving your time in the cleaning along with the background searching. ♥️♥️🪦

@@crazycemeterylady I hope you are still considering doing a look at me now comparison video. I would love to see side by side before and after shots. Maybe even a longer video. Maybe do it and post it before Memorial Day so that gives it time to really work and for you to edit. Does not need all the backstory. Maybe just these were done between X date and X date in this cemetery. And if several cemeteries do shorter videos with the same concept. Between dates and cemetery. Maybe info on how you go to workshops. I’m sure several of us would love to see that. I know I would watch anything you post!!
Keep up the amazing work and presentation of history!! Hugs and much love from another history buff in KY. ♥️⚰️🪦

@@lauraoneal5146 yes I am trying to scramble to clean as many as I can while the weather is still nice. Once it gets too cold I plan on going around and taking some pictures. It will take some doing as this summer I have cleaned in 4 different cemeteries locally 😂 have to try to remember what stone was where

@@crazycemeterylady 🤣🤣🤣 the channel name is correct then. People must drive by and see you and think “Just that Crazy 🤪🪣🪥🧼🪥🪥🚿🪦🪦🪦 Lady again” 🫣🤣🤣🤣 JK Actually I would hope that they see you out there scrubbing until you arm feels like it is going to fall off and go “WOW look at how different those stones and markers look after that kind hearted lady has been out there working on them. Every time I go past they seem to be even cleaner. She must be working magic on them”. (Chuckling if they only knew the D2 was the witchcraft at work and not a spell you conjured up in the cemetery. 🤣🤣🤣
I’m saying all of this in good fun and greatly appreciated and admire your work not just outside with the stones but the stories behind the people. ♥️♥️♥️🪦🪦🪦 You are definitely NOT A CRAZY CEMETERY LADY but a dedicated historian!! Thank you!!♥️🪦
