@@TheKat12364 not sure if they changed it, but, the longer you can do the RC and don't, the more Phil will say it, as you never actually need to do it. It also sometimes, rarely, bugs, and he'll continue to say it after you did the RC.
This is why KH2 is the best in the franchise they didn't have to add *steam boat willy* they could've just picked another popular Disney film that most kids are familiar with. Massive props and respect to Nomura!

The construction zone based on the 1933 cartoon "Building a Building" The homes on fire based on the 1930/1935 shorts "The Fire Fighters" and "Mickey's Fire Brigade" The tiny island based on the 1934 cartoon "Gulliver Mickey" And Mickey's house based on the 1931 cartoon "Mickey's Orphans" I LOVE all the old cartoon nods so this world was and is my favorite.

Just like most games, sure, you can use standard equipment; but if you think there's no difference between kingdom key and ultima, you're just posturing. However if you're saying that equipment for Donald and Goofy doesn't matter, I'd say you're mostly right lol.
"Absent Silhouettes" were added for Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, and serve as a nice nod for those who never played Chain of Memories (and, of course, those who did) .... Fun fact: On a technical level, any time you have a "swarm" of enemies across a wide area (such as in the throne room of Disney Castle), on the original PS2 only the closest few enemies are actually fully rendered -- the distant enemies are rendered as 2D sprites of their idle animation. It was INCREDIBLY effective back in the day.

Disney Castle was actually planned to be in KH1 but it got canceled trough the development. Iam glad they managed to put it in KH2 as well as the amazing timeless river. They kept telling him not to go but when Riku and Mickey were getting washed that’s when he was able to go and ended up saving both of them and Aqua which wasn’t even his job. The thing about going to the other Disney worlds to “regain his powers” and get the “power of waking” back was also dumb seeing how he learned to use it again when he was next to Ven. The base game should of had some Org XIII fights in the Disney worlds which could of made it much better than them just popping up in scenes and disappearing. They could of did so much more for the base game and fix up its writing I hated how Vanitas got yeeted by Sully.
For the most optimal experience, make sure to level up drive forms as you progress. Each form levels up diffrently. Valor form levels up with hits while in the form. I'll comment the others when you get them

So two quick things for you: 1. When using limits, try to rack up as many hits as possible. I noticed that in some of the fights you tend to finish the limits after dealing maybe 3 hits. You can alternate between hitting triangle and the X (attack) button to switch up what attacks you use. You are also invincible during that time period. The yellow bar at the top right shows how much left you have before it ends so keep that in mind. Some limits are better if you activate the finisher as quick as possible and others are okay to draw out for a bit before ending them. 2. Your drive forms will give you growth abilities that can be used outside of the drive forms like a double jump or a super sprint. Each drive form has specific requirements to level them up. I would suggest leveling them up as you go along so it doesn't become a pain towards the end game. Certain locations and chests can also only be accessed with growth abilities.
Timeless River is based on the very first Disney short “Steamboat Willie”, the one that started it all. I want Disney to do a remake of Steamboat Willie to reshow how Mickey & Minnie met. Personally i think the original short constituted as animal abuse.

I am always living for Timeless River. It's easily in my Top 3 favorite worlds in KHII, which also makes it the only Disney-based world in that list, the other two being KH-only. I'm super happy to see you also having fun with it~

When doing a limit move, remember that you can also control Sora while you press triangle for the other guy to attack. 2. You can also change the keyblade of your valor form (I just think it's really useful to use star seeker keyblade without valor form)

Not really. It's pretty well established that they weren't actually time traveling to Timeless River because canonically they can't. They have no medium to travel back to in that time. I can't remember which UA-camr, but someone did a video on it and explained that it's the memories/sleeping heart of the world. And Sora's essentially diving into it.

Saying "some youtuber refuted it" and then not going into any detail is asinine; that's like saying "I can't remember which youtuber said so, but the earth is actually flat and they have a whole video proving it". Of course they went back in time- Pete went back in time, S/D/G went back in time, Merlin himself confirms they went back in time, and Sora, Xehanort, and god knows how many Xehanort "clones" time traveled in kh3. Give some proof or stop spreading misinformation to be edgy.

Disney Magic isnt the same as Kingdom Heart’s power. Disney magic is based on creation and conjuring elements from nothing but wishes and starlight. The keyblade SUMMONS elements for use and uses its own set of laws. Merlin can conjure the door across time from nothingness. For a keyblade to do it you would have to separate a heart that allowed access to itself in the past. Which did not happen for Pete. Some assume it was summoned through his memories, which by either method could be true.
I tried saying this before too but he seems adamant about waiting to read them all at the end. There's a reason the game doesn't give them to you in order or all at once but he's gonna play how he wants to play
Hear me out: Disney+ is really liking their shorts recently so how about Steamboat Willie-style animated cartoons like the original ones back in the day with Sora and the gang in Timeless River doing whatever shenanigans. I'm a personal fan of the old style cartoons, mainly from 30s-40s era; they were genuine works of slapstick and just enjoyable and timeless and I would love to see the love and craft to make something simple as the concepts for the old cartoons but bringing Sora into a more mainstream audience
I can't wait until he visit Atlantica again, they somehow managed to make it even worse And the worst part is, I actually didn't hate Atlantica from the first game, just focus on magic instead of physical attacks

When doing Limit Breaks, you got press 'X' to have Sora join in on them too
It took me 5-10 years to figure that out myself. That made the final fight much easier once replacing with FM version last year

1. When doing a limit move, remember that you can also control Sora while you press triangle for the other guy to attack.
2. You can also change the keyblade of your valor form (I just think it's really useful to use star seeker keyblade without valor form)

Not really. It's pretty well established that they weren't actually time traveling to Timeless River because canonically they can't. They have no medium to travel back to in that time. I can't remember which UA-camr, but someone did a video on it and explained that it's the memories/sleeping heart of the world. And Sora's essentially diving into it.
What? Saying "some youtuber refuted it" and then not going into any detail is asinine; that's like saying "I can't remember which youtuber said so, but the earth is actually flat and they have a whole video proving it". Of course they went back in time- Pete went back in time, S/D/G went back in time, Merlin himself confirms they went back in time, and Sora, Xehanort, and god knows how many Xehanort "clones" time traveled in kh3. Give some proof or stop spreading misinformation to be edgy.

Disney Magic isnt the same as Kingdom Heart’s power. Disney magic is based on creation and conjuring elements from nothing but wishes and starlight. The keyblade SUMMONS elements for use and uses its own set of laws. Merlin can conjure the door across time from nothingness. For a keyblade to do it you would have to separate a heart that allowed access to itself in the past. Which did not happen for Pete. Some assume it was summoned through his memories, which by either method could be true.
Please read the Ansem Reports in the order that they are given to you! Its actually intentional and core to some of the on going stuff
I tried saying this before too but he seems adamant about waiting to read them all at the end. There's a reason the game doesn't give them to you in order or all at once but he's gonna play how he wants to play
Hear me out: Disney+ is really liking their shorts recently so how about Steamboat Willie-style animated cartoons like the original ones back in the day with Sora and the gang in Timeless River doing whatever shenanigans. I'm a personal fan of the old style cartoons, mainly from 30s-40s era; they were genuine works of slapstick and just enjoyable and timeless and I would love to see the love and craft to make something simple as the concepts for the old cartoons but bringing Sora into a more mainstream audience
