I can sense that Mae learned a lot of the relationship dynamics just by watching the girls around her just like I do. As a 20 y/o muslim girl, I have chosen to not engage in pre-marital sex at all. Surprisingly as a girl who never engaged in any romantic relationship, many girls ask me for advice for every small nuances with their partners. I have noticed many girls branch-swinging right after their breakups due to abundance of mates in their prime and yes it is always pre-planned, the men usually want to reconcile but are completely shut down. It does explain why breakups and divorces are overwhelmingly initiated by women.

You could of identified as a young strong independent woman...but instead you identified as a "Muslim" girl, as if it has some value or meaning. In fact, this one statement displays the sad truth about religion and why we need to discard these old myths. I would guarantee, that you, like all children, have had religion shoved down your throat from the time you were born and as such, you are in fact not a Muslim girl but in fact a product of what you have been trained to believe...if Christians had you, you would be a Christian, if Jews had you, you would be a Jew and so on....I strongly believe that it should be illegal to teach and person about religion under the age of 18 and you are a perfect example of why we should do this. The next statement of you stating that you are not going to engage in pre-marital sex basically eliminates your choice of men by almost 99.9%,..this is because the number of males wanting to get married is decreasing at a rapid rate and very few men will wait for sex because getting it these days is as easy as swiping right. Also marriage is a very bad investment for males these days and more and more males are learning this the hard way and in return they are re-educating younger males to avoid marriage and walk away from any for of relationship commitment. Men are now setting standards and looking for value and what a female will bring to the table and 99.9% of women are now falling well below the standards of what males want. Lastly. Marriage is out dated and there is no value to marriage because it brings nothing to a relationship....now you might say it brings commitment ...errr....no it doesn't, it brings forced commitment ( never get these two mixed up ) you are either a committed person or your not and marriage is not a magical tool that gives you commitment. Also we live in a world where we actively teach young people to never settle and to always upscale and up grade and to get rid of the old and get the new....we have educated the young to never commit, in just the same way you have been trained to be a Muslim and not just a young lady.

I have a guy friend that I've known since we were little. When we were in high school the guy was a romantic, a dreamer. His first true love came only a year after high school where he fell in love with a slightly older woman who was in the middle of a divorce. He fell hard and fast, within 6 months he was considering marriage. She however was far more practical, she had a 5-year-old boy to think about and my friend was only a freshman in college with no prospects yet. So of course, despite her feelings for him, she dumped him and went back to her husband and patched up their relationship rather than continuing with the divorce.
Of course, my friend was crushed, but he eventually somewhat got over her, and two years later he fell in love again. This time the woman was closer to his own age and was "quite wild", as he would say. She suffered from bipolar disorder, though over the course of their 6-month lovefest she had seemed totally normal. One day she walked up to his door with a huge smile on her face and broke up with him like she was ordering a salad at the Olive Garden. He was of course confused and crushed but, he would have eventually gotten over it. The problem was that they went to the same social events, constantly. They went to the same clubs, had the same circle of friends, had the same classes in college... they were constantly within sight of each other. And she didn't care in the least... she flirted with men, dirty danced with them at clubs in front of him. She had zero thought about his feelings. Until one day the man snapped. I watched as the most friendly, and the most peaceful man I'd ever known... jumped over 3 tables, busted a beer bottle on the wall, and tried to gut the man she was with. Fortunately, we were there in a group and his male friends tackled him, preventing what would have certainly been a mistake he'd have regretted for the rest of his life.
What's strange is that about fifteen minutes later he had no idea how he'd gotten from the barstool to the booth we were sat in. He didn't remember anything that had just happened at all and was wondering why three bouncers were standing in front of the table just waiting to dropkick him.
He changed that day... I swear something inside him broke. He became almost an emotionless machine from that day forward. He struggles to make friends now, and even now.... 25 years later... My friend hasn't dated anyone at all, not because there are no women interested in him, but because he can't love anymore. He's lightened up a lot since those first few years, but he still looks like a military veteran who's seen war, even though he's never served.

Then a few days later found out she was sleeping with my best friend. 1 year of depression but kinda still broken and have had no desire to date even though I do get the chance. Responding to infidelity posts and talking with other online has helped me immensely. Just started when I stumbled on a video and never stopped. And oddly I'm feeling the urge to find someone again. Mae makes a sharp observation at the 20 minute mark. Women will take the trivial and inconsequential within their relationship and elevate these to crisis proportions when seeking to break-up. It's a defense mechanism against admitting that they just "felt" like ending things on a whim and recognise how callous and shallow that makes them. I credit her with acknowledging the reality of this.

Yes they often feel they need some tangible reasoning so it doesn’t seem callous. The reasoning offered is often in itself a genuine issue or grievance that did affect the relationship but as you say is elevated artificially to a higher status then it actually merits.
But really it didn’t cause the breakup - it didn’t help but it wasn’t the main cause. But it’s something they can nevertheless use it to bash you over the head with so in that sense it becomes a very handy prop alongside the cover story.

When they start doing that and start causing drama and misbehaving about things that never bothered them before, that's a clear sign they are talking to someone (or more) behind your back. Matt from The33Secrets spoke about this a long time ago. When they do that, just dump them whether or not you're in abundance or not. To date, every single woman I've ever been with has done this to me. Treated me so horribly. Especially about sex. So many women who accused me of not wanting a commitment or only wanting sex and then dumping me...when all I've ever wanted is a solid, committed relationship. So many that I started to believe it. Common denominator, right? Now, I know that they were just gaslighting me. In hindsight, it makes total sense: all of these women had a new boyfriend within a few days, some even on the same day.
Here is an honest, real example: Met a girl online, we talked for 2 months, finally met and hit it off immediately. Two weeks into the relationship, she met with me and a few my friends. It was a "meet the friends" moment, ya know? One of those "friends" was, unfortunately, a Chad. She was literally his girlfriend 3 days later and I was, "Only interested in sex." We...hadn't even had sex yet and discussed it one time. :|
Another example? Sure! : My high school "sweetheart" left me for my sister's 32 year old boyfriend the *very moment* she turned legal. She literally dumped me when I went to give her a birthday gift. And I was, "afraid of commitment"...we were together for 3 years.
How about this one? Another girlfriend was cheating on me with a married Army Recruiter. Got pregnant with his kid while still with me, made me think it was mine. Ruined his marriage and his career. (His wife outed him to his CO.) Then she moved in with him, in one day, while I was at work, and called me *from his house* to dump me and tell me it was his kid. I was also, "only interested in sex". She left me in such a bad way that I had to quit my job and move back home. I also had to return the engagement ring I got, which is way, way more embarrassing than you can possibly imagine.
These are 3 examples and I've dated about 30 women in my lifetime. And, I stress this, every single one did the same or similar things to me. The only advice I've ever gotten is to: keep trying. The right one is out there?

Monkey branching is real for women. I've been associated with some girls that would drop their current boyfriend if they got a firm commitment by myself to stay with them which made me feel that the switch wouldn't necessarily be the last time they would do that. My sister has always had the notion to tell me when she would drop her boyfriend months from when she would formally end the relationship, but as to if she had someone else lined up, she was always confident enough to not worry about dating. It's a different world for women and men shouldn't think that female situations are similar to a man's perspective.

Imo I don't think that falling in love is a luxury for males, but a liability. It benefits a man in no way whatsoever who is self sufficient, and surviving (if not thriving) on his own to become emotionally attached to someone. The man is devoted to someone who instinctually is very likely to NOT be devoted to him, and will if at any moment the opportunity presents itself exit the relationship like a burning building; it's not a very attractive deal.
Therefore, I think it is more the conditioning of men to be more susceptible to emotion and especially our physical urges, and not use our ability to sift through those feelings with rational that has caused us to become vulnerable to hypergamy.

Something I see missed in the discussion about female "evolutionary behavior" is the "evolutionary behavior" of men as a counter to it. Women act as if their behavior is justified because it made sense for women to do it in pre history. Do you think your feeling of disgust about their behavior didn't exist back then as well? What do you think men did to women back then knowing this, considering the supposed lack of societal backlash for those evolutionary behaviors? They probably kept those women on a tight leash and were allowed to use their force as the stronger sex to enforce their will. So would abusive men be the natural biological reaction to promiscuous female behavior? Just saying, if women's natural behavior is justified then so would ours.
Also, if men naturally dislike women's promiscuous behavior, why would that behavior exist if it should have been bred out? The women that were more reliable and more attractive would produce more children.I personally blame a lack of accountability for anything beyond being picky when a woman is single.

Today's men have to overlook the fact that _she literally _*_can't_*_ resist out of hormones for jumping of joy off the Cliff of Fortune™_ and so on. That men have to forgive a woman and are supposed to apologise her the behaviour - which _is_ wrong. Yet none woman out-there would argue the same in favour of men. Think about that for a second!
*_None_*_ of today's women_ would forgive him *_any_*_ kind of infidelity_ - no matter how hot the chick was. *Relationship and marriage is about exclusivity!*
He went on to engage adultery, simple as that, right? Why? A man being engaged is supposed to stay faithful and loyal towards his woman, under all circumstances - no matter if that hot blonde at party grabbed D!ck's present when sweetheart went to the bathroom, if the young-blooded neighbour-chick sunbathing completely naked or doing her gardening in just a Thong-Bikini is asking if he's single (for a friend!).
It's a absolute tolerance of infidelity men are supposed (and told) to accept and get over with, which is actually just a damn excuse-package to cheat being nicely wrapped into a present, still dripping wet of another man's D!ck (whose name is actually not D!ck but Chad…) and being presented as a gift while having _»It's hypergamy, _*_I'm sooo sorry!!!_*_ I can't help it. If we assume that ideas are vetted and survive centuries or more because they work, then the overwhelming policy of male lead politics is something that works. It's clear that the western tradition of shaming worked to keep the more socially focused female from acting out. A male would likely receive shame or humiliation for having relations with a women that was exposed and shamed by society, which means the punishment is twofold for those women. It's the opposite of today, where men who speak out against this have the societal machine working to end their genes. This all resulted from men being passive instead of standing up for themselves.

Very insightful, she almost seems like the younger female version of you :). The sun glasses were a bit odd, but other than that I enjoyed the discussion.
I was married to my high school sweetheart, we started dating at 16 and got married at 23, she divorced me several years ago when we were both 45. So we had been together for almost 30 years and married for 23.
Ironically I was never smitten with her, I even tried to break up with her several times while we were dating. But she would get so upset that I would relent, and to be honest she was attractive, intelligent, treated me extremely well, and she was very driven. So I eventually had to decide if I was going to cut her loose once and for all, or marry her. At the end of the day we got along well and she checked every box so...
We both had successful careers and would think nothing of being apart weeks at a time for business trips... I never once cheated on her (and there were many opportunities, some extremely overt), not because I was madly "in love" but because I made a commitment and had to much respect for our relationship and out family. We had one child after being married for 10 years, I waited because we moved around a lot for career opportunities, but also because I wanted to be sure we would go the distance before having kids.
Unfortunately after having a child we discovered that she was not the stay at home type, but her career was to unstable for me to stay home, so our daughter spent a lot of time with nannies and fancy day care centers. I was not angry about this development, but I also was not going to have more children just to hand them over to strangers to raise, so we only had the one child. Both of us were away a lot for work and did not have supportive family close by so we had to rely on nanny services and juggle our schedule so at least one of us was around. However, there was very little drama, and when we were together we all got along really well, so we told ourselves it was not the amount of time, but the quality... bla bla bla. Then her business venture failed and her career began to stagnate, she took a job that paid well, but doing work she did not enjoy. We agreed to stop moving so our daughter could grow up with some consistency.
Things did get a bit stale but I thought we were solid so... Then she started getting critical of everything I did or said, or didn't say, I just figured she was going through a phase until one day... She even accused me of possibly cheating, one time because of a dream she had, and another time claiming she could smell perfume on me. I was not concerned and just laughed it off because I knew that I had not done anything so... I was very naïve and complacent, after thirty years...
When she asked for a divorce I of course asked if there was someone else, and of course she swore up and down there wasn't. I tried to talk her out of it for our daughter's sake (she was 11 at the time) but she had it all figured out and in her "opinion" it was far worse for her to see us in a "loveless marriage". I was against the divorce but I was also not heart broken about it either, we were together for so long that I never had an adult relationship with another woman, so I would be lying if I did not admit that a part of me always wondered about it. That coupled with the fact that she had been so miserable for so long, there was a part of me that was relieved. However, if it had been my choice we would still be married, but she was determined and nothing I said would change her mind. So I went along with it and tried to make the best of it for our daughter's sake.
Thankfully we both made good money (more or less the same) so there was no major arguments in the divorce, joint custody, no alimony or child support, and we split everything 50/50. However, 2-3 months after the divorce and she is dating this guy from Italy she met through work, then I remember her mentioning how she went to someone's home for dinner while we were still "happily married" and showed pictures of the family. I did not know at the time (and she did not mention) that it was a divorced man with kids. I was very naïve and trusting at the time. She has since married this guy and lives in Italy now. After watching videos like yours I now understand what was going on, she was projecting her behavior onto me in order to justify her actions.

I know this is biological also but this has made me reconsider relationships on a massive scale and I am afraid to let someone come close to a certain point. And I can see why so many men are afraid and why so many hurt themselves or even take their life. Because it is not common knowledge and just goes under the radar on a huge scale. Closest you'll get is the "finding someone better" or " grass is greener" but understanding hypergamy on a deep level is just something else. Even as a word and it sounds scary.

Well, I know my neighbour handed her husband divorce papers when she had already another guy, so that's one data point that confirms this theory.
I also want to include that she kept the house and custody over the children. He can see them, but they practically live with her. And this isn't even in the USA.
It boggles me that the social justice movement is silent about these grievances. How can anyone call this fair?

We derived our notions of romantic love from the Middle Ages through the classic Medievel Romances. The best remembered and most popular of them all was the Arthurian legend, which BTW features monkey branching. King Arthur marries the younger and very beautiful Guinivere and builds Camelot, the glorious walled city. He presides over the Round Table where the noblest of knights sit with the king as equals. Then Lancelot comes along. He's handsome, more skilled in combat than all of the other knights, and expresses the highest devotion to Arthur and by extension his wife, the queen, Guinivere.
Guinivere had everything going for her, but Lancelot's beauty, prowess and purity of heart were all too much for her. Even though the Arthurian legend is fictional, elements of the story had to have been drawn from observances of real life examples.
Monkey branching is not something that just started recently as some trend that emerged from the Internet and social media. It's been going on forever.

Men don't branch swing, they spin plates. In the contest of evo psych, plate spinning is the proper strategy among a field of branch swingers. No matter if a plate swings away, her relative importance is minimal because no plate will spin forever. Your task as a man is to get skilled so that you can spin the optimal number of plates for the optimal time you desire. Some plates you stop spinning when a better plate comes into view and your roster was already full.

The thing with the pure evo psych models of human romance is that we have repeatedly moved away from it as a species because, as we are seeing *right now,* socially imposed norms can be an excellent source of stability that in fact ensures greater fitness / survival than more simian, cutthroat tactics.

    • @michaeldavid6832

@@kirdref9431 Men spin plates because the analogy is that it takes work to manage more than 2 at a time and keeping them aloft -- giving just enough attention not to drop or knowing when you should just let them drop. If you stop spinning them all, they all drop. Men stop spinning plates when they get into a relationship.
The free segx is the spinning plate, not a relationship.
The XX is trying to secure a relationship. They don't have a roster, they're just a plate on a lot of sticks -- if you get my drift. They can only firmly grab on one real branch at a time -- a branch is a commitment (the real winning state for XXs).
A man can let go of all plates because they're just plates -- extra work but no real change to his lifestyle except some extra work. There's no loss to him when they drop.
But an XX can't let go of all branches at once. They'll hit the ground hard. The reason the landing is hard is because nice branches aren't easy to come by and by the time you've lost grip of any of them, you're older and less able to grab another. That climb is a beast.
A man's primary goal is segx -- the less costly the better. Since most XXs aren't worth relationships anymore, cheap is what's on offer most of the time. Any win for a man includes segx. A relationship without segx is a roommate.
An XXs primary goal is resources. Segx is secondary because that's easy to get -- some guy will always be willing to hit-it. A relationship is vastly more valuable because it includes resources and family. A relationship without resources is the struggle state for XXs. They can live perfectly fine without segx in a marriage.
Branches are rare and it's painful to fall without having hold of another one.
Plates are cheap and optional. It's not painful to lose one. In fact, it's less work.
The analogies were chosen to fit the relative value of the thing possessed. When you lose a plate, you just get another and go on living the lifestyle you made for yourself.
When you lose a branch, you fall... and sometimes never get another. You lose the lifestyle which was provided by that "branch".
Men marry a person, XXs marry a lifestyle -- the person is optional... as the marriage tales and divorce stats have well proven.

      @@geoffstemen3652 They aren't either-or, they're both-and.
Enforced monogamy in a tribe prevents that tribe from fratricide. But in a case where most of the men have been deleted by starvation or whatever, monogamy would leave some XXs without any productivity for the tribes survival.
Monogamy is for times of prosperity. polygyny is for times of great hardship.
There's no good case for polygandry because men are competitive and will somehow disadvantage or eliminate the child of rivals -- and they see all co-husbands as rivals... you can bet on that. Any male who permits co-husbands is a very low status male anyway so it's very poor genes -- the poorest. Polygandry is a lose-lose by any way it can be interpreted. There's a reason no successful civilization survived on that model.
As for extra-martial cheating of XXs, this tactic is to ensure that males remain vigilant to detect and defuse rivals. If a male doesn't care about cheating, then his will for genetic survival is low and he shouldn't reproduce anyway.
Men who cheat don't ruin the genetic survival of their wives AND they have offspring who will reproduce in any circumstance -- in a relationship or out of one.
Our segxual behaviors evolved to cope with constantly changing environments. The evo-psych inerplays with social norms to optimize reproduction in different contexts.
What we see today is the result of a pathological state which is rare. A time of plenty in which all reproductive accountability has been removed from females. I can't overstate how corrosive this is to the gene pool. It means that male virtue now has ZERO selection value for females. ZERO. All things which are virtues are, in fact, turn-offs. This only works for societies during the chaos of constant war -- when a prevalence of psychopaths and Machiavellians are required for tribal survival.
We are producing low IQ Dark Triad horror-shows as our next generations. This is an exponential effect because reproduction is an exponential phenomenon. This selection has been occurring since the early 70s when the pill removed the main selection factor which caused XXs to select average men who were virtuous rather than good-looking psychos.
Mark my words: our civilization has seen its last days. The demographic seeds are already planted and have germinated already for 50 years... and it's even worse today. The chaos and crime you see isn't some accident of politics.
Politics is downstream of virtues and IQ. Both of which are turn-offs to XXs in current year.
I wish I could say I pity humanity but it's only the POSes who are going to bear the brunt of this collapse anyway. My generation won't be alive to witness the end.

Although that shouldn't be an excuse to become predatory towards men, I think that happens more then society realizes. trauma that goes untreated creates to reactions coming out of an abusive, traumatic situation, one is to become a victim of it or the other is to develop predatory behaviors in place of allowing victimization to occur without repercussions for future relationships. Therapy can assist in developing a regained sense of empowerment that is healthy and is an alternative to the other two options that appear to be common in the aftermath of abuse and trauma.

Thinking about the myth of the heartless male in the context of some of the issues discussed in other videos, it seems to me that if 80% of women are pursuing the top 10% of men, wouldn't that elite group of men fit the heartless myth more accurately? Most of us have some familiarity with a woman saying, "I wish more guys were like you," while not giving any serious consideration to dating us. Kind men are ruthlessly friend-zoned, while women continue to pursue the same group of a-holes. I competed in martial arts when I was younger, and I remember that really aggressive fighters received warnings for using too much "contact," but were still allowed to win the match, so that the prohibition against using injurious force against your opponents was in the end just lip service. Similarly, women say they want a kind man, but the brute wins the day again and again, and the rest of us take the blame.

Some people look down on using hookers but in this day and age with the way modern vwoman are with rampent monkey branching and hypergamy it makes sense.
The hooker won't lie to you or cheat on you and she won't monkey branch.
Basically the hooker won't play games with you or betray you.
