@@priyam352 Mechanics cutting corner is not a new issue, even in WEC/ELMS where the pit equipment were spec. It's always been part of the game that what you do during pitstoo could be crucial to the race itself that they knew what they doing and the limit they should reach.
It's the idea of refuelling as "Dangerous" that baffles me as if the rule makers hasn't thought of safety measures to put in. Liberty Media and FIA are moving more towards spec/homologated parts as a cost cutting measures. It wasn't long until F1 became "FIA IndyCar world Championship" or something on the line and by then people would become accustomed to. That's why the debate of "Spec parts kills the sport" is irrelevant today.
Also, look how F1 today sells their sports by throwing the "Drama" such as Drive To Survive as opposed to selling the technology of the car that teams like Williams accustomed to back in the days.

Formula 1/E is all about pushing technology. Create a rule set in favor of advanced technology forcing teams to engineer new technologies that'll eventually trickle down to general public. Some examples that were first created in F1 are V shaped engines, turbochargers, anti-lock brakes, carbon fiber, carbon brake disks, steering wheel buttons, energy recovery systems and hybrid technology. All created by teams in formula 1 that eventually trickled down to car manufacturers thats using them now in every day cars. This quick charging forces teams to create and engineer the best way to quick charge. Every team will have their own approach to it and it'll naturally test itself out. Whoever design's fail will be trashed and the one that works best will be used and fine tuned. Once its "perfected" then the technology (and manufacturing of the parts/system) will then trickle down to other race leagues and then road car manufacturers.

This rule defeats a motivation to develop faster chargers. There just has to be strict and heavily enforced safety regulations specifically regarding the battery and charging system so that each team must demonstrate before a race begins that they can safely charge their battery as fast as they will during the race and if they charge faster during the race than they've demonstrated before the race began that they can safely charge a battery that is at operating temperature, they will be disqualified.
