From Scott Sanders Disney Cruise Blog: Traditionally, classic ship hulls were painted black. It was determined that black was too sinister and too depressing for a Disney ship. In order, to keep the visual look of a classic ocean liner Disney settled on a color that is 87% Black and 13% Blue. This unique mix can cause the ship to visually change colors, depending on a number of factors including the weather, time of day, the light, and even your perspective to the ship. Also called Monica Blue, a Disney employee wearing a pair of pants that were black in one perspective and navy blue in another. Love your show, Tony.
Isn’t it cool that thru your UA-cam channel, you found a great friend and travel buddy - I mean Don, of course! Have fun!
Glad you made it on the cruise 🚢
Thanks for sharing Tony! It’s always fun checking out all the ships in a port. Hope you are having fun on the Sun Princess.
Hi Tony. Lot's of ship's in port with you. It really is nice that they put a covering over the pier. As always thank you for all you do ❤
Disney ship hulls are painted "Monica Blue" which is actually 87% black and 13% blue.
Monarch Blue....made specifically for Disney
@@wayneflowers9879
monarchs aren't blue; and it is indeed Monica Blue, it's named after a cast memeber
Thank you for the entertaining video, Tony. Enjoyed Don’s “ca-ruising”!
The boys are back in town, the boys are,the boys are back shout out Ludicris
Good to see you and Don together. Thank you both for great videos
Another great video Tony! You spotted the ship I’ll be on in a couple of weeks, The Disney Fantasy! ❤️❤️❤️
I remember my first cruise, in the Western Caribbean, seeing Canadian banks like Scotiabank, RBC , and TD at some of the ports. I did not know that Don is originally from Nova Scotia.
I'm currently living in New Brunswick but was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Like i've said before, the world needs more Don. 🫶💯🇨🇦
Sun Princess is definitely one of the new ships I'd love to try 💙
I came through there years ago and it's much nicer now!
Carnival Freedom was the first cruise I took with just myself and one of my children. She has a special place in my heart 💙
Glad you made it on the Sun Princess! I can’t wait to be on her again next March, 1 year after we were on her before ! Hoping all the bugs are worked out this time !
We were on the Conquest 22 years ago this week 🙂. Second cruise for us together, I guess we liked it 🤣
My husband and I returned 2 weeks ago from a driving trip to Seattle from Indianapolis. We spent 7 days on Quantum of the Seas and 14 days on the Carnival Spirit. Both to Alaska. We spent 14:14 5 days on the road, seeing this great country of ours. Along the way we stopped at Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, Devils Tower, Minute Man Monument, Yellowstone and Mt. Saint Helens and Mt. Ranier. On the way home we went through Denver to see family. Wonderful trip and would do it again.
How fun! What a great trip! We have done Yellowstone & Grand Teton in our RV from California. Going on our 4th cruise to Alaska in June 2025. 😀
Glad you made it and home is fine
Hope Don feels better soon!
Glad to see you and Don reunite . Happy belated birthday Don. We are all human and have our off days/ make mistakes 👍
Nassau looks so different! Its been awhile!
In 2018 we drove from MN to Vancouver and did a 15 night Canadian Rockies bus trip-Awesome!!! We then drove to Seattle and traveled around Washington visiting relatives and had other family fly in so we could all cruise 14 days with HAL to Alaska!
We then drove back to MN where more family came to visit and we went to the MN State Fair!
At the end of summer we then drove back to FL for the winter!
Another time we drove from Mn to Vegas to AZ thru Tx and back to FL!
Love road trips!!!
Been watching to see if you made it to the Sun Princess. Happy to see you did. Counting the days down until my December cruise.
Oh the new Princess ship is gorgeous 💜
Glad you made it over to the Sun Princess. I’m here in Ft. Lauderdale waiting to board for the 1st Caribbean cruise tomorrow 10/14 🎉🎉
Two of us drove D.C. to Miami in a Fiat 500C straight-thru to board Celebrity Reflection. That.Was.Nuts.
Hey it's the Carnival No Longer On Fire... again! ;) lol!
I've booked a Sanctuary Balcony cabin on the Sun for next May in the Caribbean. Totally looking forward to it!
I have been on all those Carnival cruise ships! All good ones
Hey! Me and my wife met you at the port from Allure of the seas. Nice meeting you again !
Great to meet you!
I was in Nassau a month ago! Went to the Queens staircase & the John Watkins distillery!
Will be there on Tuesday!!
So glad you made it onto the Sun Princess finally, Tony. And also pleased you are able to hang out with Don.
Fun to see all the ships that ended up in Nassau.
Enjoy!
Good Morning Tony
I'll be at that port on the 4th of next month. 2nd time there, but still better then being at work again
Sounded like Don needed to see a dentist badly before Milton hit and he didn't make it to one before getting on the Sun Princess. Was the pharmacy to string out the issue a little?
one time we had to get Voltaren in Nassau... was scary lol
Great video ❤❤❤❤
We were there in carnival during COVID and the businesses were closed, a hurricane just came thru so building were condemned and missing roofs etc. It was a ghost town. Would be interesting to see it now
We were there years ago, the straw market was pretty small then.
Don with the cruise hands 😂
I remember the original straw market. Yes, the one before it burned down.
I like big ships and i cannot lie - shout out you know who lol 😂
We will be on the Sun Princess in December.
I'll be in Nassau for the first time this January.. why don't people want to get off the ship in Nassau? (outside of whatever one may say about 'crime')
have you done the Jeep driving excursion if you havent disembarked in Nassau?
My first cruise was on the Carnival Triumph 🎉
We drove from Seattle to Ft Lauderdale twice for a Transatlantic cruise..
....7 days of driving
Good afternoon
I saw your ship coming in today
The 3D in person doesn't come thru the shark video. Looks cool in person. If I recall that Starbucks doesn't take payment thru the app.
Always love seeing out and about. Glad that you were able to go. Extra excited to see you with Don! Enjoy!!
It is a fun island, just stay in the safe areas and avoid the out of the way places
I enjoy atvs and eating the local food there. It's good
I will be in Nassau in a few weeks, on the Carnival Pride.
Had so much fun on the Conquest with 3 of our "kids"
Been on the Freedom with our "kids" too
We won't drive from Michigan to Seattle, that's too far. We do drive down the east coast to ports and would southern, maybe even Galveston.
Heidi, 2 years ago, we drove from Ann Arbor to Port Canaveral. Hubby got Covid on our last day of the cruise. I had to drive most of the way home. Now we Fly 😁✈️
@@ArleenHarr My husband refuses to fly unless it's across country and that's with a rare auto immune disease which causes us to stop more often. Air travel is harder on him with it. We're young retired so we got the time. I think he's had covid 3 times, thankfully nothing serious
@@heideleskun1163when we lived in TX, cruising was so easy. I'm 74, hubby 85. We have 2 upcoming from Baltimore. No problem with that drive.
@@ArleenHarr Good to know, been to Balitimore for a adult family cruise with our "kids" and partners then a Journey Cruise. We love Baltimore. It is outdoor parking but it's safe. There are toll roads, you can get a transponder that's good for a LOT of states and you just load it with money. Hotels can be pricey and a lot by the port you have to pay to park, downtown ones too.
Alot has been added since I was there last year.
First time that I was in Nassau it was on the Dolphin. Am I the only person who never tires of Nassau? What I miss is the kids diving for money.
New Starbucks! I wonder if the bathroom code is the same as the old store.
Starbucks was open when I was there in March
How i would rank it.
1. Allure of the Seas
2. Disney Fantasy
3. Sun Princess
4. Carnival Freedom
5. Carnival Sunrise
6. Carnival Conquest
Disney ships are painted in Monica Blue, look it up
Disney ship hulls are painted 87% black and 13% blue called 'Monica Geller' . . . it's a 'friendlier' color. Remember to tip your waitress.
Is it worth getting off? I wouldn't after visiting two times. I wouldn't book a cruise that stopped there. Should I rethink that?
I like the stop for ship spotting mostly.
greetings. tony 🇯🇲
Tony!
Bob Dingo is on the Fantasy
Should ha e stopped by Linda's Place for a fantastic Conch salad!
Mexico Perfct Day will be at Mahahual, Mexico opening 2027
Thanks for your video, Tony. I love when you do these types of videos and you and Don are so funny together. Hope you had a good time.❤😂🛳️🦩⚓️
Three days to south Florida here
# notification Squad
Boom! #squadleader
Thanks for taking the time to show us Nassau Terminal and all the different ships there. Busy port no doubt. Good to see you both survived the weather, and are enjoying some time together.
How is Don feeling today
Is the sun princess the one with lng for fuel?
This is so cool, last cruise we were on we did a stop in Nassau and I was right where you were at Starbucks and crocs and so forth. Thanks for sharing and taking me right back to my happy place again Tony! Oh and I hope you had a great time with Don and Sun Princess.
I can’t even say how excited I am for you guys. Super jeal but excited for December on the Sun. Love hearing from you today. Lol “ classy black” oh and love your shirt. Ha
Hey to Don. lol Dons Carroozzzin. ❤
Did you find any Leggo? 😄😃
No :(
Disney Ships are Monica Blue (Dark Blue) ........
Hi Tony, I am so happy you and the family are all good, Prayer Works Brother, you have a wonderful time and stay safe.
Did you find the pharmacy? There is one right outside the gate of the terminal to the left.
Just curious, what other content creators were on the sailing with you? Looks like a great ship.
In the Starbucks in Nassau did they take the gift cards and rewards cards?
I had to use my credit card.
“Safety first” is “Don’t touch my food”. Just sayin’
Have you ever been on a Disney ship yet?
Yes
The shark still looks fake
Ya think :)
@@LaLidoLoca I should have said in my Marty McFly voice
Good to see Don again
Cruising in 2025
Been on a lot of cruises, but Nassau is my least favorite ports.
Did you happen to spot Don's good reputation......apparently it's disappeared.....
💯. I unsubscribed from Don’s channels. Tony is hands down the greatest, but I will never watch if Don is included in videos. Don is self-centered, he only cares about himself. He doesn’t care about his subscribers, and he is losing many subscribers. Rightfully so.
First?
Close
Don's from NS!!!! where!!!!! We are too!
Only 5? Hey Don!
How is Don's tooth? That's actually my biggest fear on a cruise.
I think it’s good
