And this scene is so Oda like scene, he hates copy pasting his old drawing for flashback panels; I feel like most director would just use the old scene to save time. Please do more One Piece episode Ishitani 😭
I still get goosebumps when i see luffy running towards roger
and Roger open his arm like he want hugging a kid luffy
Brah it always felt like luffy was more of Roger’s son than ace was but this just makes me feel that even more
Everything about this scene is just amazing. Especially the art style it kinda reminds me of some 1900's anime which is a pretty nice feeling.
That laugh is gonna be clutch come June/July 👌
I’m so obsessed with how beautiful this scene is. I’m just at the start of dressrosa but I can’t wait for the point that I see how much beauty and effort is put into this ark
Literally the best animation of all time to me and the emotions I feel in this scene makes me tear up just from the sheer aweness
the use of color in this episode is so genius . you can see exactly when yamato's two worlds-- his reverence for oden and respect for ace-- collide .
Truly the man who inherited Roger's will.
1:12 Man win that electric guitar distortion hits 🔥
Luffy's laugh is so iconic
Hooooot Damn! That was some god tier animation right there. A blend of art styles, brilliant use of color. You could feel Yamato's awe.
who’s here after 1088?
Hearing Junko Takeuchi as Sabo again is so surreal
