The Gruebel Forsey was by far my favorite. I've not been able to see anything that close with it before, so this was a welcome sight.
The HM7 is one of my ultimate grails, I've always been a fan of dive watches and the absolute absurdity of the aquapod has always fascinated me.

As gorgeous as the Greubel Forsey is, I cannot get over the brilliance of the Ressence.

So what's the watch in the thumb nail?
I had the oportunity of wearing the Aquapod at MB&Fs Lab in Singapore. Linda explained to me that Max Busser was inspired in creating this watch by a jellyfish... that stung his wife in a holliday. haha what a story!

Greubel Forsey is reaching. Literally charging the cost of a house for some styles of polishing.
I'll take a Hodinkee Berkus any day, for a fraction of the price, with all the glory of 'handmade' necessary, but with Xfold the complication.

Awesome time machines. I remember when I saw the Ressence for the first time and thought "wow, that is my next watch!" then I saw the price tag and all ego defensive mechanisms kicked in. "it is not that good.... and you probably have to change the oil every 2000 miles and the spark plugs every 5000... I can´t be bothered...." In reality I love it and I would love to have one. It is just not affordable for me. Thanks @andrew_morgan_watches and @watchfinder to let us drool over this insane pieces.
