As much as Jacob & Co gets crap by watch reviewers (and some of it well deserved too), that Bugatti watch is a mind bender. It's truly something I've never seen before and I've been watching watch videos for years. Which watch would I personally have in my collection? The robot watch. It's well designed, well crafted and quirky. To me, it takes the Konstantin Chaykin "joker" watch to a new level.
Polosin's "Kopf" robot watch is only £7,900. You could actually own it if you really wanted it. (I'm tempted, but I already blew my annual budget on a GS.)
@Mohammed Ajeeb i like it a lot. It is super unique and looks really cool. Only issue is the battery life. If you wear it all day and look at it a lot the battery will be dead by the end of the day
@@TetraTeslaGaming That isn't right. Have you done the steps, that Den Obuhov has described if you have the "one day battery problem"? If yes and it hasn't been solved, you should get the battery replaced. A few people had that problem. I am still waiting for mine and am very exited to get it soon.

I've played golf with my seiko 5 on more times than I could count. I never once thought about it breaking. It's less than 5 seconds a day off. But I'm also not a PGA tour player.
I think I can see a manufacturing default on the R.M, the tourbillon arms that have the flat-head screws in them, one of them seems kinda scratched up, the watch looks brand new so I doubt it sevicing, am i just seeing feflections or is it scratched?.. can't see the markings on the other 2 arms?
I've decided that retro- and steampunk are my dotage sensibilities, so I'll add a nixie watch AND the Niwa Lunokhod to the collection in the coming year...
FYI, if you guys are gonna market NIWA, maybe look into how many $40 preorders they’ve chosen to take without actually fulfilling those orders. It seems pretty scammy to me. I still haven’t received an email from them about my preorder which was done 6 months ago
Dunno man i think on a wrist it looks like a plastic child toy watch, unballanced and uncomfy as hell to wear, too big, designed around a stupid gimmick Not a focused man's watch. I loved the bulbwatch though, but i stil don't understand how to read it.
I didn't even know people were still buying these relics with moving parts. even though i deeply respect the craftsmanship and wild designs, would not trade my smartwatch for any of them
They have been posting a lot of "top x" lists off of web pages and montages of old videos lately. Apparently they have gone for quantity over quality, sadly.
Favorite? One of the Niwa watches, any day. Both Lunokhod and Nixie series look just awesome. And, unlike other watches in this video, although they look like a pure novelty, there's still something "warm" and human about them. Undeniably, watches like Chiron are a marvel of engineering, but to me they're just too... pretentious. I mean they don't feel like watches anymore, more like pure "flex", screaming "I don't know squat about watchmaking, just admire how wealthy I am". There's a reason, why there are other watch brands, making also very expensive watches, yet nobody hates them; on the contrary, some of their models are favorites among both those wealthy and those less fortunate collectors. That's because their most successful models are almost always very understated and modest, when it comes to design. They're not assaulting your senses with tons of unnecessary "bling". And don't get me started about RMille's creations... Admittedly, they have some nice watch models, but then again it's also possible to find an Invicta watch, that doesn't look like something from a steampunk nightmare😄 Most of RM's collections these days (like a "Lollipop" collection) remind me of latest two Rolex models, with all those spots and emojis. Maybe there are people, who like this type of design, to me they look like a stream of colorful puke, unfortunately... I don't think I like the way the modern watch design is going. Same with a whole bunch of watchmaking brands suddenly trying to push out as many skeletonized designs, as they can. I mean it works on SOME watches. Doesn't mean it works on all of them. Another example - Tiffany blue dials. Everyone and their mother are trying to release at least one such watch model nowadays. But again - it works on some of these watches, not so much on others. Personally, I miss those 70s - style sunburst and gradient dials in various shades of red, burgundy and dark red, that almost becomes brown, as red seems to be quite underused color there. But, that's the thing - these are MY personal feelings, and I won't try to convince anyone, that "I'm right". If you like something like RM's watch designs, can afford them and most importantly they make you happy - who am I to tell you otherwise.
You're correct and incorrect at the same time. The two sides of the block have 8 cylinders in a v formation even though they share the same side of the block. That's why it's called a w configuration, it's two V's put together.

I bought a NIWA Lunokhod after the watchfinder video about it back in November, and I'm super happy with it. It's a sick watch

I attempted to buy one and no luck. Any tips to buy one?
The setting of the Lunokhod enlightening, the Kopf utterly jaw dropping.
the waiting time is like half a year so yeah you gotta pay a small amount first and then you wait.
puntastic reply dude 😅

As a lifelong gearhead, I think you can guess!
I really couldn't care less about Bugatti, but that little sapphire block with the rotating assy.. 🥰
2:07 Sea-Gull blushing over there in China with their $ 500 tourbillon 😅
There is also $200 Chinese tourbillion watch out there now. And it looks much better/more expensive than the Seagull one. Look it up.
Woah 🤯 thanks for introducing us to these!
What I get from "themed" watches like the Chiron is the Orange county choppers vibes, like theming something just for the sake of it. Pretty cheesy.
The engine in Jackob dose actially not work. It only displays the pistons.
obviously!
it's only the short block... and that rotating assembly looks cool
Always delighted when I have one of the watches on your list. Admittedly, it's the cheapest one, but I still love the Niwa.

Insane watches that CRUSH Rolex!
Does anyone know what kind of discount I would get for an order of ten or twenty watches? 🤣
the watch is a timepiece, not a status indicator
So, Richard Mille invented a G-Shock?
The Bugatti watch, by far.
Damn....
Bubba Watson could have also gone with a $9.99 digital.

Where do you put the petrol in for that W16 engine? :)
