@@CypherusMcClainWell it's not a weak car eather, even cars that weren't made for off road that are from 2008 are pretty good for normal off road (not going on a hill that is at a 45° angle or above, which would mean that mostly only at mountains would be a problem). Also the terrain near the road is pretty flat, so it's besically a dirt road.

The Jeep is not computer controlled for driving, AND it has no auto-pilot. You cannot hack it. The Tesla is computer controlled for driving, has auto-pilot - - yes a driver has to be behind the wheel, as required by Tesla and most states (but there's UA-cam videos of Tesla drivers completely asleep at the wheel). It is also possible for no one to be in a Tesla, and you can "summon it" to pick you up at a door - but it's probably not legal in some states, & probably not recommended by Tesla. Sooo - it might be possible to hack & auto-pilot a Tesla.
Electricity is always better in times of crisis. Because it can be obtained but fuel cannot, the owner of the cheapest electric car always has a battery to last even a few years of economical use. When the blockout occurs, there will be no fuel. This is terrible, lack of transport means death.

What's even funnier, if they downed the power grid in USA in that movie, how do they know the assemly line makes fresh, 100% powered up cars? Plus, if those cars are made in one state, do you really think they will go any further than the state they're made in, without recharging them? That's why this movie is stoopid.
