The ice cream recipe 1-2 cups of almond and coconut milk 1-2 cups of frozen bananas 1 cup of soursop 1 cup of protein powder 3/4 cup of raw cashews 2 tbsp of psyllium husk (flaxseed) 2 tbsp of coconut nectar 1/2 tsp of vanilla bean powder 1/2 tsp of pink himalayan salt
Psyllium husk is NOT flaxseed. And flaxseeds are undigestable and need to be pulverized into powder so you're steering people very wrong here. And it's ONE SCOOP of powder which is 25 grams not one cup. ONE CUP OF POWDER IS 122 GRAMS. 100 GRAMS TOO MUCH. And it's RAW SOAKED cashews. Soaking makes a huge difference.
So the first ingredient is an exotic fruit that no one's going to be able to find in the states. And the blender you need is a thousand some dollar Vitamix... Super practical
Hi! If you actually watched the video you'd hear her give alternatives to soursop if you can't find it. You need a high-speed blender for these sorts of recipes. You can also use a different blender but it will need more water and time. Stop whining.
Steups.. girrrrrl ignore when people talking so much about VitaMix cuz they just marketing.. I have a Magic Bullet and I made this type of Ice Cream by accident.. using all sorts of things I had for a smoothie and didn't realise what I did.. the taste was phenomenal.. and the texture was incredibly smooth.. never had to use cashew or anything like that.. just frozen Banana alone will get you the texture of an ice cream you're looking for and well I used Almond milk from the box.. and Coconut milk I had frozen.. If you want Soursop I can ship it for you.. it grows here in the Caribbean very well.. and I'm sure you can find it in a grocery that sells Trinidad food stuff, there's even Soursop ice cream being sold in the states by Trinidadian people
@@tamiajackson it's not marketing. There are other high power blenders. Breville has one. But vitamix is the most commonly known. A high power blender can turn things smooth without adding any liquid. Which is what makes it very thick. With other blenders, you will need to add some liquid to blend it and then it's more of a smoothie rather than a smoothie bowl. High power blenders make such thick blends that you can turn it upside down and it won't fall out of the bowl. Alternatively, things won't blend things 100% like a high power blender. If you put leaves like spinach into your smoothie, you'll still see tiny specks of green whereas with a high power blender, those tiny specks will completely blend in. High power blenders do this by pulling the mixture right down to the blades.
Truthfully guanábana is pretty common in many tropical countries. And there’s a way around with regular blenders. As a Puerto Rican I love this recipe. I suggest to shift from a negative perspective and see things in a new lens.
I love this - it just shows there is so much options for ice cream. I can make an Icecream with just frozen bananas some dates plant milk and cacao nibs but I love hearing other options :)!
@@Krystal_Kitty7 yeah I just add four frozen bananas, 5-7 dates and around 200ml coconut milk, let it go creamy then add to freezer, or add less milk and keep stirring until it’s an ice cream soft serve consistency:)
Kristina, Yes indeed a 👍🏼!!!!! Thank You! Thank You! ...and only a blender needed for this delicious ice cream recipe. Thank you so much. Tons of blessings to you .❤🍨🍨🍨❤
I make nice cream with frozen bananas, frozen berries or any fruit of choice, a few dates as I like it sweet sweet sweet haha and then blend! It’s as simple as that guys! Simple and good too, if you don’t have all of the items in this beautiful vid! ❤😊🎉
@fullyrawkristina I wish that you could send some of the soursop here to Milwaukee. My mom and dad both have cancer. I heard that it helps fight cancer.
Hi Kristina, this is just divine! I'm from a tropical island called the Philippines and I love guanabana (aka we call it guyabano in tagalog). Wow, I didn't know you can make nice cream from guanabana...yummy, yummy in the tummy😊🌞
Me: I would definitely try this recipe.. (A few moments later into the video) Also me: I don't have any of the ingredients available in Indian market except banana..😂
Aloha Kristina. Could you make ice cream with no bananas , no coconut, no cashew. Using almonds, walnuts or pecans and sweetened with stevia. I love to have ice cream again. Chocolate, berries I can have but not large doses of fruit my blood type O cannot handle lots of sugars. If you could this that would amazing!
I have followed you a long time. I love your recipes! But i am not longer a vegan, but i love to eat raw vegan food whenever i can! It's so healthy but i eat meat and fish also and i feel more balanced. All Glory to Jesus Christ he is my King and saviour! I like when people are causative and can find good solutions and share them with others, as you DO. Beware; some people want to stop anyone who can do and be and have a great and helpful beingness. Such are sometimes wholly committed to stopping others. They can ruin a workplace; make others to stop to try. I am glad you continue and ad something valuable to the world of vegan. Just flourish and prosper - it will go away.

Lot of sugar. Bananas is sugar.
I made it with frozen organic mango instead of guanabana. It was unbelievably delicious and creamy. You really are not exaggerating, Kristina!
Mango has to much sugar, it like eating three candy barsm
Hearing the rooster and the rain was awesome. You're so blessed to live there!
