  • Today we’re talking all about how to brew your very own “multi-mineral” supplement right in your kitchen in the form of an overnight herbal infusion. Consuming herbal infusions (especially nettle leaf) is an excellent way to support hair growth, strong nails, healthy skin and so much more.
    ------ Herbs I’m covering include:
🌿 NETTLE LEAF - specifically for combatting hair loss, brittle hair, dandruff, and allergies
🌿 RED RASPBERRY LEAF - rich in minerals with an affinity for the reproductive system, helps to strengthen and tone the uterus
🌿 OATSTRAW - for anyone who feels depleted, burnt out, and needs some adrenal love. great for kids due to the calcium & magnesium content!
    ------ Where to get them:
    👉🏼 Nettle Leaf: amzn.to/2M5QLQh
    👉🏼 Red Raspberry Leaf: amzn.to/2M4ZJ01
👉🏼 Oatstraw (not confirmed gluten-free, look for a local source if you are gluten intolerant!): amzn.to/2QkJhHE
    ------ Video Breakdown:
📍1:00 - Importance of dietary minerals
📍1:32 - Minerals protect against heavy metals
📍2:38 - How to extract minerals (why we need heat & time)
📍2:59 - Benefits of nettle leaf for allergies and hair health
📍3:48 - Using nettle infusions topically as a hair rinse
📍4:02 - Benefits of red raspberry leaf for the reproductive system
📍4:34 - “Adrenal fatigue” aka HPA axis dysfunction and oat straw
📍4:50 - Benefits of oatstraw for nervous exhaustion and depletion
📍5:36 - Look for gluten free oatstraw if you’re intolerant
    📍6:09 - What you’ll need
    📍6:36 - Steps & directions
    📍7:19 - The final product

I love this so much, thank you for all that you do!
One question: You mentioned how in order to reap the maximum benefits and see the best results, its best if one does it over a period of at least few weeks or months. I was wondering if within that time period, one must do it everyday? or is it just couple times a week?

Hey Olivia! How often should one take the infusions? And an overnight jar is just for the next day?

Do you drink these first thing in the morning? Before meal or through out the day as your tea? Thank you!

That was interesting! On most herbal teas (like nettel e.g.) you find a brewing time of 10 minutes. I always thought, that this is due to safety, so that the tea doesn't get two strong!? Or is this recomendation just because of taste? So basically leaving my nettle tea to brew for longer will give me more benefits (even though not as much as the infusion)? Or am I getting something wrong here?

Do you prefer to drink the entire infusion in one sitting? Or could you store it in the fridge and drink it over the course of a week or so?

Can you use them more than once? And do I drink the whole jar of the herbal infusion in one day, or can I portion it over two days? :)

Love this!! Can we use the same herbs to brew more than once? Or do we need to make a new batch every time?

    • @denisegarcia3586
      @denisegarcia3586 5 років тому +2

I recommend a new batch, because all of the nutrients went into the water from the first batch.

Rebecca there are some natural stores that might carry some herbs, but in her downbar she put links, she also has some other videos about herbs and you could take that brand name she talks about and see if they have any.
