  • Today we're covering everything you need to know regarding the (very trendy) class of herbs we like to call ADAPTOGENS! ✨👇🏼👇🏼
Adaptogens are a must-have tool in our modern world where "stress" seems to be around every corner. While these herbs can't take the stress away entirely, they quite literally change the way we respond to the many different obstacles in our lives by modulating and regulating the HPA axis.
    In this video you'll learn:
🌿 What exactly makes an herb an "adaptogen"?
🌿 How do they interact with the body's HPA axis (stress response system)?
🌿 Examples of my top 3 favorite adaptogens ✨
🌿 What makes each one unique and how to use them ✨

Hi Olivia- I just love all the information & education you give us! I’ve been a nurse for over 15 years and love learning about herbs and living a holistic/organic life. For such a young girl, you have so much to offer - I know you are going to school - Are you becoming an Herbalist? What exactly is your major? The “herbal life” is new for me, but boy do I love Everything that you are teaching! Also, Where are you going to school?

I've been into HPA dysfunction (Andrenal fatigue) for the past five years. Finally got the diagnosis a month ago, they found a non cancerous nodule. I got every symptoms you talking about but I've been getting some relief taking Gaia Adrenal Health for the past month. This condition has caused melasma so is there herb/essential oil to help this condition. Love your spirit and knowledge. I'm going to try some of your products.

I love that you made this type of informational video. I legit feel like I'm in class learning. I would definitely go to hear you speak if you ever decide to do that! I have been working as a night shift nurse (7p to 7a) and feel burned out and anxious from doing so. I use many of your products (peace, mood, brain, liver juice). I love those products! I bought the adrenal recovery but have a hard time taking it because it is recommended to take in the morning which is sometimes hard for me since I am coming home at 8 am. Thank you for this information!

Thank you for taking time to share your knowledge!!! :) It is funny your bring up ginseng. My mom recently purchased the herb for its energy boosting properties and has found it very helpful.

I'm very interested in trying Ashwagandha as I already drink Holy Basil tea + Chamomile every morning. I've been suffering a nightmare of anxiety attacks and panic attacks since Nov. 2018 caused by too high a dose of CBD oil (I've had panic attacks before, after smoking marijuana and can never touch it again). What mg is recommended for Ashwagandha? The Pure Encapsulations brand only shows only 500mg capsules. Thanks so much! 🥰

Hey Olivia, is this Korean or American Ginseng that you talk about? Apparently one is cooling while the other is warming. Also, I cant seem to find whether Ginseng is drying or moistening. Are you able to help with this? Thanks heaps! Loving your videos xx Lara

Question! When I was previously researching adaptogen capsules, I had read that you need to switch out, or cycle the type when taking them. People were saying your body can get really used to them quickly and that you can’t take it consistently for long periods of time.
    Is any of that true?
I’m looking to find a capsule to take for my anxiety disorder, but I feel like that wouldn’t make sense to start, stop then start again when trying to regulate my anxiety!

Really informative video about adaptogens, Olivia. You made things simple to understand and great presentation. Herbs are awesome. They knock out bad microbes, contain unique compounds, micronutrients, help with stress, etc. I'll have a look at panax ginseng since you mentioned it! Thanks!! q:-)
