Thanks for stopping by and checking the video out. This is just 1 video in a whole series where I'm talking to real Hardshell Roof Top tent owners. I will be shooting more so let me know if you're in the area and have a Hardshell tent to film. Special thanks to @jclewe for letting me film his RTT. Also shout out to Midguard Adventure Equipment who imports these tents. midguardadventure.com/ Also Edit the Rhino Rack sustains 264lbs not 300.
Yeah there aren’t a whole lot of hardshell tents out there that are super cheap. Sadly mine was 1k more than this one. Honestly all the functions and stuff have me really rethinking my set up.
Great stuff...own this exact one and it is amazing - I use it all the time. There a few cons to it....even then no worries as the pros outweigh the cons.
Yeah it was really nice. By far the nicest one I’ve ever been in. If it was a little bigger inside I think I’d buy it. I have the go fast which is the same size but I’d really like to do something like the ikamper but with this kind of build quality.
@@OXFOOT Right there with ya! I think the key to b-roll is money but people will grill me for that. Sure the angles are artistic but the gimbals, stabilizing lenses, in body stabilization, high resolution high frame rate recording. That all does wonders in post.
I really need to get a gimble, hand shooting these is really tough on the fly. Maybe if I can make enough from YT to justify such an expensive purchase.

For the record the tent and the awning are made in South Africa. The gas struts are made in Australia
Thanks for the info!
Great video! Commenting for the algorithm.
Thanks that’s awesome!
That guys setup is amazing. Not enough to make me buy a wrangler ( and it's expensive af) but super clean and quick. I like it a lot

But yeah he’s got a really nice set up. It’s like everything You’d ever need and fast.
What a setup👏 holy cow. Dope vid, excited for the rest.
Thanks! Got a ton of them ahead of me so I really need to get moving on the editing now.
The tent is dope, but it’s the awning for me! 😍 Excited for the rest of the series.
Yeah honestly love that 270 degree awning is a big selling point for me. The construction is really high quality too!
@@OXFOOT It looks strong enough to hang a little swing, or hammock! That would be the dream setup for me.
I didn’t even think of that. That would be pretty nice to be able to have the hammock right there.
Great video
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!
Great review mate 😊👌💯
Thanks, I appreciate it. Thanks for stopping by and checking it out.

Love the intro!
Thanks! I always feel like my intros are too long but I tried to keep this one as short as I could and still get the info I need.
@@OXFOOT plus that b-roll👌🏼
Yeah I’m trying to work on my B-Roll. It’s basically a big focus of mine in 2021. Still have no clue what I’m doing though ha.

I know John :) i got the same tent lol the backbone system is 264lbs not 331lbs
Oh cool, love that tent y’all have. I’ll see if I can fact check myself after the fact or if annotations don’t work anymore.
Yeah I looked on their site and it does say 264, I’ll see if I can correct it.
@@OXFOOT Amazing video :) man keep up the good work.
Thanks, appreciate that. And the feedback as well!
Yeee yeee
Lol, Yeeeeee yeeee!
You say some guy imports them from where what country
I believe it’s either South Africa or Australia. Let me look it up real quick.
It’s made in South Africa.
what wheel time & tire you using.
On mine or on the Jeep? The Jeep I’m guessing?
Great Video
Thanks, I appreciate it. I’m hoping the rest of the series does better than this one. Thanks for the feedback.
