This is a great product. You know for people who have partners/spouses and/or children who won't come camping with you unless they will be comfortable, this tent would go a long way in convincing them to come along with you.
Another great product but have you thought of integrating the roof rack/mounting into the tent so as to do anyway with the need for a roof rack to begin with?
amazing looking product. Not sure I could justify spending 9k on it however. Then again I'm not doing extreme camping or have a commercial need for this.
this is perfect, would love one of these with the 270. wish there was a $ combo deal or something, hard when u spend all ur $ on the car and canopy then cant afford these lol :(
Hi Dave, our head office is on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland and we have a wide network of stockists you can check out here www.thebushcompany.com.au/yith-store-locator/
@@TheBushCompany Awesome! I am located on Brisbane's southside but journey up to Caboolture and Bribie area often. I'll check out your website fir more details, I would assume you have a showroom or display at your head office on the sunny coast?
One of your earlier vids shows the install of an AX27 & XT 270 Max on a Kings MT1 camper trailer. Do you think it will be possible to also install a TX27 Max ? as that would be my preferred option
You guys build a great tent I have the AX27 I just don't understand why you still include the same crap ladder..Its hard on the feet and I had to switch to the black alu cab ladder..otherwise wonderful products..
It looks a beautiful tent but my only concern is the weight. Coming in at 123kg without any bedding or extra things on its roof, I would have thought the total weight would be over the dynamic load limit of most roof racks and vehicle roof for that matter. My guess is they're probably only suited for utes with specifically designed alloy canopies that can handle the extra weight.
I’m a bit confused about this. The only reference that i can find to the roof limit weight in my Landcruiser 76 owners manual is “Avoid loading any items on the roof that will make the centre of gravity even higher”. The only reference that I could find online regarding weight limits, was on a forum. The consensus was that the weight limit of a 200, is 100kg, with it POSSIBLY increasing to 150kg with 3 or more roof bars, but the weight of these bars is included in that limit. I wish Toyota would provide a page of all the limits, in the owner’s manual. Does anyone have actual weight limits, because I love this tent and would like to buy one, but I don’t want to void my insurance.
There is a lot of conflicting information out there about Roof loads. Your best bet is to speak with your insurance company and see what their policy is.
You said these roof top tents are for larger 4x4 trucks but what if you have a smaller 4x4 like an old Nissan Navara Dual Cab what would recommend for them. Is it a weight issue as to why you wouldn't fit one of these or is a size issue.
@@TheBushCompany OK, so if I have a smaller an older 4x4 like a Nissan D22 or a 2000 Hilux then the double clam shell design is out of the equation. Why is that ?, I really like that design of the Classic Max and this newer TX27 Hardshell Rooftop Tent looks to be even better designed.
@@CaptainBax The weight of the TX27 tents makes them better suited to larger vehicles or camper trailers, plus the TX27 MAX is 1.6m wide which to too wide for most dual cab canopies.
These are incredible tents.
Just spent 4 nights in my DX27 and it was the best nights sleep in the bush I've ever had.
This is a great product. You know for people who have partners/spouses and/or children who won't come camping with you unless they will be comfortable, this tent would go a long way in convincing them to come along with you.
No doubt you guys make bloody great products. We love our 270 max awning and this tent looks just as good 👍
Great tent, you are the leader in roof top tents. Hats off 🎩👍
Amazing!!!! Love how you keep working and improving your products 👍
Thank you! Will do!
Mindblown 🤯 This is going on top of my Series 2a.
Wow deano !!! Bloody awesome 😎 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Nice tent Dean👍👍👍
It's very interesting for me. I hope you are successful at always

awesome tent!

There is the VERY bottom of the range, dare I say it.. kings.
I emphasise, VERY bottom of the range!
Very nice
Love it! Hope you have an Aussie distributor, yeah it's pricey but alot of thought with some clever R&D gone into it to justify that pricetag

Hi David, yes, we have a full display of our tents ate our showroom in Marcoola.@@davidfromdownunder
@distribuidores en Europa (UE)?
Will it fit on the rhinoman aluminium canopy, the smaller version.
Bloody stunning awesome

Hey mate. It looks absolutely great tent. Are you guys in Brisbane Australia?
Hi, we are based on the Sunshine Coast, 14 Cessna Street, Marcoola.
You guys build a great tent I have the AX27 I just don't understand why you still include the same crap ladder..Its hard on the feet and I had to switch to the black alu cab ladder..otherwise wonderful products..
HI, our new ladder will be available from October as an upgrade and will coming as standard with our tents in 2024
Great looking Tent! Are you importing to North America? Have you considered having tent deploy sideways/90° from current setup?
We sell direct as well as have a number of Nth American distributors, you can find them on our website thebushcompanyusa.com
Hi, would the TX27 or Max be ok on a 2016 Nissan X-Trail 4wd ST model?
The TXMax would be too big. It’s designed for camper trailers, toy haulers and large 4WD’s. Not sure about the smaller version but should be ok.
It looks a beautiful tent but my only concern is the weight. Hi Jack, that is why we recommend this tent for large vehicles, trucks, camper tailers and toy haulers.
I have a troopy will it fit? and do they have an attachable annex room?
it would fir but the dynamic load rating would just about be exceeded.
Hi
Whats the cost?
Cheers💪👌🇦🇺
Brilliant.
Are these available in Australia please?
Certainly are. Jump on our website www.thebushcompany.com.au and you can either buy online or find your nearest store

I know you Aussies make great overland products but I dare ask the cost of this great tent 😳
$8950AUD for the MAX
Is there only one ladder access point at the end ? Or can you also access from the side ?
You can access from the Side, however the rear access is the largest simply due to the style of tent
Im not seeing the TX27 available on your website.
it is up on the site now. www.thebushcompany.com.au/product/tx27-hardshell-rooftop-tent/
How much..

There look very well made by the way, love the design and I love the roominess & height you get inside.
G'Day CaptainBax, either the DX27 or the Ax27 tents would be better suited for a Navara Daul Cab.
