He makes it sound so easy…
BOOM BOOM BOOM! 😂
Just taking all furniture out of the way can be pretty tough job…
I’m not a big fan of knee-kicker stretchers but this was a good demo.
It might not be realistic of me but I’m always hopeful that the flooring industry will eventually come up with better ways of attaching/gripping carpets and move from using tacks and nails.
I lost count of how many times I’ve hurt myself when walking barefooted in our house and other folks’ houses only to step on tacks underneath carpet edges…especially between room divisions such as from dinning room to kitchen, living room to kitchen, hallway to bathrooms, etc.
Thank you!
Use the head of your hammer and push down moving across the pins. It will bend the pins down! No more pricks!
Yes, it's the dismantling of furniture that's a huge inconvenience.
@@josephgarcia2979 Absolutely! 👍
Did you remove baseboard or does the customer? How do you charge if you have to remove the baseboard? What about furniture?
Dude you’ve got a kick-ass great attitude! Keep it up bud. Thanks for the info. Subscribed with alerts.
Why not use a power stretcher?
What are your thoughts on the Kneeless kicker for Re-stretch?
Wow you get such a variety of tools in USA and possible to rent them too in the uk power stretchers are not available in the U.K. for rent but then again they are recommending to use them on rooms 5m plus anyway. Good job bud boom boom cut cut cut tuck tuck tuck 👍🏻
I always stress when I have to call a repairman, mainly because I fear they will break something else while fixing what they were called in for.
you make it look so early man. Good job
Hey Mike better tell your DIYers bout radiant heat floors heard of DIY guys messing up and puncturing a line and caused alot of damage lol
Brandon Edison good call!! I actually had an incident with that years ago, water spraying everywhere lol
Great video, simple and helpful ,
Another very helpful video! Thanks
So cool to hear a woman's voice in the trades!
What does this channel have to do with blueprints?
Good video for learning everything not to do
Y u say that
The reason you get bubbles in the first place is because the use a knee kicker to install. They are only good for small rooms because you need to actually stretch the carpet. He used to other tool to help pull but theirs still going to be a slack at the end not much but it'll be there @@miguelrodriguez1353
Dont the knees hurt.Wherre can we find someone who does it for that good price?
I'm going to give you a few different ways. Proceeds with one way. Thanks
What kind of carpet is this?
Positively like this is why I don't make UA-cam videos
When you use the knee kicker do u put it over the tack strip or a little away from the tack strip
Would a wall trimmer work on these restreach jobs?
ReinSman100 yep as long as there is enough material going up the wall. In this video/ scenario it would for sure but I’ve had lots of restretches where I’m only pulling an inch up the wall in those scenarios it’s easier just to cut with a knife in my opinion
I didn’t see any ripples in the carpet that needed fixing? When he pulled I saw no change in the carpet…
Need an estwing brotha
Need someone in Memphis that stretch carpet
Did the homeowner see the wobbly wall? Should have paused the whole thing until the root of that, and the wall, was fixed.😢
That’s what you get wrinkles in your carpet because you knee kick the carpet instead of power stretch what’s with Americans not properly laying carpet .
What's the name of the stretching tool you're using that latches onto the tack strip? I've searched but can't find anything like it. Good video!
Crab stretcher tool (2:17)
not bad
Christian Wilson thanks!!
Cement nails never go in that easy to me. You're just gingerly hitting that stuff and it goes it. I can be hitting it with the rathe of god and it wont go in. And when it does go in a chunk of the floor gets removed. It's probably the quality of steel in the tack strips.
Are you serious, you should be ashamed. The gripper looked old and blunt the underlay was over the gripper the first time and then you hacked it off short.
You really have never had to use the tools u have so u should learn to work with what u got just saying
It will eventually ripple because he didn't use a power stretcher.
Ok if you have a knee kicking tool😳
Do you know how those wrinkles got in the carpet in the first place , doing the same thing you are doing with the knee kicker . Dude where is your power stretcher
Buuuiuuu no saben trabajar
Hate the diy encouragement for trades work, personally....
I do bathroom remodels for a living and these folks absolutely ruin the tile industry, and people homes..... ugh.
You keep using that hammer, your always going to have problems
Hey Jibroni, you ever put extra concrete pins in your tackless ? Prolly not.
Wear a pouch ya goof.
You are buggering up your knee.
Lol a crab isnt a good stretcher lmao
