Yes , the pole stretcher has always worked the best. But most installers, you included, do not know how to use a knee kicker! Just saying! You got to get your ass off the floor when you make contact with your knee. I use the pole stretcher and the crab for tight spots or hallways. Don't forget to tri tack or double strip all power walls. Double strip entire room if backing calls for it.

That crane garbage mini strecher is excellent. U need to reinforce ur stick wont have any problems. As for kicking carpet in ur not really hitting with ur knee u are hitting the meat part above ur knee. Its so funny the diff tools used from California to Massachusetts.
Many people figure the knees will be the only problem the kicker causes. From the jolt of the kicker my hip is worn out . Need a replacement. Now it's just the powerstretcher and Crain stair stretcher for me. Knee kicker seldom leaves my van. Also have two powerstretcher heads hooked up with a one foot extention I find helpful. Sometimes throw the crab stretcher into the mix with it.
I appreciate you sharing that, I don't do a lot of stair work but I would still like to get that Crain stair stretcher just to have it.
@Gold Coast Flooring | Carpet & Tile Care I have the plate from one power head bolted into the other power head.( Mcgivered it). Had to shorten it to fit a stair to stretch sideway , Where most time they wrinkle. Ya without the crain stair stretcher I'd likely have to get out of the trade. Either that or get hip replacement. I heard there is a recovery time that would kinda mess me up. Life of a carpet layer lol
@@jsballeck oh I see what you mean now, I do a lot of restretch jobs and just hooked up my power stretcher to my Crain knee kicker to kind of do what you described. Always trying to think outside the box to make things easier while keeping the same or better quality of work.

On some concrete to see if it's worth it. There is 0 videos on it. The kneeless only does so much in my opinion
@@thereeldeal821 Yeah be interesting see that in action havent seen any videos on it. May need Jr power stretcher head for it. Maybe kneeless be good for set walls and such not restretching whole room
