- JON LORD'S CONCERTO FOR GROUP AND Orchestra. Alongside with Győr Philharmonic Orchestra played such great musicians like:

John O'Hara (Jethro Tull) - keyboard
Kaitner Z Doka (Jon Lord, Ian Paice, Don Airey) - guitar
Bernhard Welz (Jon Lord, Don Airey) - drums
Conducted by Paul Mann (Jon Lord, Deep Purple, LSO)
no words to find - in all sadness - this is - DIVINE
I listened the original recording from 1969 in 1970 and I was blown away (I was 13).

The great band from 70s, Deep Purple and keyboards that musical genius, John Lord. Thanks. the Hammond its de perfect instrument to play that wonderfull music.
Excellent. Fantastic performance from the orchestra conducted by the masterly maestro, Paul Mann. Great to see Roger in the band. (Bruce seemed to have a wee problem at the beginning of the first vocal passage but recovered well.) That brilliant, uplifting, rip-roaring third movement never fails to delight and this performance certainly delivers. Heart-felt thanks and congratulations to all those involved. And cheers for uploading, Classic Rock Forever '91.

Unfortunately far from as good as the original from 1969. A disappointment and not because of the symphonic orchestra they were fine.
